I contracted Mr. Alonso back in August of this year for a variety of minor electrical jobs that to be done in my home. We agreed on the cost and I gave him half upfront as a deposit he requested. He said he needed that much to get materials. On the day of the job, he and his assistant showed up three hours late and only did about a third of the work. The major work of replacing the kitchen under cabinet lighting was left undone because I didn't have the fixtures, which confused me. What materials would a professional electrician need to buy with a customer's money if not the fixtures that will be replaced? What equipment would he need to buy that he wouldn't already have? But I let that go, thinking I had misunderstood. We agreed that once I got the fixtures, I would call him and he would finish the job. I have never seen him again. He ignores all my calls and texts. One time when I managed to get through to him and he pretended like he didn't know who I was. In short, he took half the total sum for about a third of the work actually completed. My mistake was in trusting him and not getting a written estimate beforehand. But my naivete does not excuse a person who does not honor an agreement.

My house was hit by Hurricane Ian and my outdoor outlets and weather vain were damaged and/or destroyed. The electrician came out and was quickly able to repair all the damage. The issue is I am located in Cape Coral. I reached back out to them because my outdoor outlets no longer pass 110v. I have done all I can to try and resolve the issue myself. Since I was unable to resolve the issue I needed them to come back out and fix the issue since it was on outlets they repaired and should be under warranty. The electrician does not return my phone calls or texts and will not commit to coming out and doing the repair. I am very disappointed in their professionalism! Customers be warned!

ELECTRICAL SERVICES UNLIMITED HAS NOT REFUNDED OUR MONEY ($7,426) FOR A PROJECT THAT WAS CANCELLED IN OCTOBER 2018 NOR RETURNS OUR PHONE CALLS.

A deposit of $7,426.24 was given to Electrical Services Unlimited for the purchase of a 22kw gas generator for a Adult Care Facility in the month of May 2018; however, this project was subsequently cancelled during the month of October 2018. Yet, we were only recently notified that Electrical Services Unlimited was attempting to apply 25% restocking fee even though the latter item was never received by our company. Please note that the purchase of this generator was contingent on a city permit being issued and design documents being approved by AHCA; however, this permit was never obtained given that this project was cancelled during this initial phase. Thus, we feel that this 25% restocking fee is not only unfair but also improper given that no proof of shipment or bill of lading was ever provided for the latter.

On November 13th, we spoke to Ivan and requested the following items being provided:
- breakdown of what has been spent so far for this project
- status of generator refund,
- new proposal for smaller scope (i.e. 1 portable generator for an A/C unit per the revised AHCA requirements).
Nevertheless, we never received any of the aforementioned items. We had also requested to meet with Ivan on several occassions to discuss this matter; however, each time we were left hanging due to the lack of follow up. Given the 2018 year-end requirement by AHCA and the lack of follow up, we had no choice but to complete this project via an alternate vendor.

We are very frustrated at the lack of communication exhibited by ESU thus far given that we previously requested that Nicolas Joachim, Son of Excellent Care ALF Administrator/Owner & Electrical Engineer, be the primary point of contact for this project going forward. The lack of contact only makes matters worse as it only propagates the appearance that ESU was attempting to take advantage of of senior citizens. In light of the lack of information/follow up provided thus, we feel the aforementioned refund is warranted and more than fair at this time.

Please note that no contract was ever signed with Electrical Services Unlimited; yet, invoice submissions were paid on time by our company when requested. Nowhere within these invoices was a 25% restocking fee stipulated regardless of whether we received the generator or not; thus, we feel that what they are trying to do is highly unfair. It's been over a year and we still haven't received any of the our money. Consequently, we will be seeking litigation through our lawyer on retainer (with additional interest and damages caused by these delays) given that this is clearly a case of theft on the part of Electrical Services Unlimited.

Very unprofessional. Ivan was hired to instal a generator. After I paid my deposit and paid for the generator I didn't hear from him for several weeks. When I was finally able to reach him and he started the project, it was obvious he had no idea what he was doing! He was attempting to install the generator too close to the property (which is a huge fire hazard) When I told him I no longer wanted him to do the job, he stated that I would have to pay a restocking fee for the generator and everything else would be refunded. It has been over a year and I haven't seen a dime. In total he has pocketed 8,000 dollars, and refused to answer my calls or emails. Save your self the headache and go with a more professional business. See you in court Ivan.

Just another typical Miami no-show. Booked an appointment and never showed. Blamed it on the ""not in my system"" excuse. As per usual, to get anything done in this city that requires a trade person, need to call 5 or 6 just to get one to maybe show up. Don't waste your time.

Just got off the phone with Ivan and while it does not seem that I will need his services at the moment, I wanted to point out that there are still many professionals, like Ivan, willing to be generous with their time and expertise. Thanks and that's something I'll keep in mind for the future.

Ivan came by today and gave me a great quote for a new electric panel and wiring for a new tankless water heater. He was such a professional that I signed the contract already! Looking forward to my new electric box. Review will be updated after!

7/15/17. As you can see, Ivan and the team installed my new electric panel and I couldn't be happier. I also had three fans installed and Ivan helped my husband install the new hot water heater. I highly recommend this company!
