Let me start for saying I hate to leave bad reviews but my experience was so horrible they kept my money for a service I never received and damaged my drywall for a service I didn't request. Stay as far as you can away from this company they are dishonest, half way criminals and overpriced!!
I called electrical insight to get a quote, they told me they would come over to give me a estimate, the technician who came looked like straight out of jail and high but I felt bad not to let him in so I did, I explained the job I agreed to the price and when he came over to start working we just got back from a trip we were alsleep in our room and to my surprise when I woke up he did a fan I never even told him to do and asked me for more money to complete the job. He even tried to blackmail me saying I can either pay a 1000 more or he can do it on the side for 250 my husband and I felt threatened. So we paid for the whole bill even though we didn't receive service for what we actually needed. Instead doing what he supposed to do he broke my drywall I called the owner and showed him photos, he even was surprised that we paid. He came over and said he will have some new put them on and refused to refund my money!!!! Or pay for the damages!!!
- We had a tesla charger that we needed to put in as well and we thought we could use it as credit for the tesla charger but he actually made us pay for that too, I feel we are very reasonable people and understand things can happen wrong but it's all on how you respond to problems that make you a 5 star business and this is not one of them.
After this review the owner reached to me and finally refund 500 of 800 some part of that to cover the repair. I am glad he did the right thing I just wish we didn't have to go through this to get my refund.

I needed a thermostat replaced and they said ok, so I cancelled all the other Yelp responses. Then they told us they couldn't do it and I needed and HVAC person. It's a $50 thermostat from Lowes that hooks up to (wait for it) electricity! But an electrician cannot do it from this company.
Don't bother with them. Now I've wasted an entire day goi g back and forth with them.

I am very impressed with Electrical Insight and definitely will be using this company's services again. The Technician assigned to my job called in sick that day and the other Technicians were booked. Rather than leaving me hanging and needing to make another appointment, the Owner, Douglas, came out and did the job himself. This is real customer service and a business that truly cares about its customers. I am also very pleased with the finished job and the cost.

We had a weird electrical issue after I flipped a circuit breaker last week. I went to Yelp to find someone to come take a look at it. The reason I went with Electrical Insight is that they do a free consultation. A lot of other electricians in our area charge just for a consultation.

When the tech came out, he was super honest with me. Gave me a fair quote to come back the next day and fix the issue, and then showed up on time and fixed the issue for said fair price.

A 5 star experience.!

Needed an old chandelier removed and a new one hung up. Not a biggie except this one was 20 feet up in the middle of an entryway, with no walls around to support a ladder! A couple of companies wanted nothing to do with us. Rob came by for an estimate and said no problem and gave an extremely fair price for the job.

Communication with the office staff was flawless when my appointment was scheduled and I was even texted and emailed reminders as to times and dates, very reassuring and great service!

Rob, Doug and another gentleman came out to do the job. They all were the nicest, most professional and caring folks we have ever had working on the house. Using scaffolding to reach the 20 foot height, they were fast, efficient and not only did a great ""remove and replace"" of our chandelier, they left the work area cleaner than when they found it. The work was perfect, the crew was wonderful and the price was right on. We're never going anywhere else for our electrical needs!

Robbie turned our electrical problems into a thing of the past after he spent a couple hours at our home yesterday. Professional and personable Robbie did great work with an amazing attitude of humble service. For years, we were looking for a mix of electrician and lighting technician, an expert who knows the trade from top to bottom and we found him when Robbie showed up. He worked quickly, pulled Austin in to help because once we 'knew we found our guy' we gave him more work than he planned for!

My advice, hire these guys, they won't let you down!

Had a few issues (receptacle not workbig, ring issue, Nest thermostat issue)
Robbie showed up-great guy-extremely helpful. Fixed everything. Now I hope I don't goof them up!!! Prices fair and reasonable

We got a quote for a full electrical panel upgrade in February, and signed the work order to begin the permit process. 2 months later (which is normal) when our permits finally came back, the company called us and said they incorrectly quoted the project, and it was now going to be $1,000 MORE EXPENSIVE. They said prices had gone up. That was a 30% price increase. I cancelled the work order. This company is ethically questionable, and does not honor their word. Beware, they could change their prices at any time, especially once they feel it's too late for you to back out.
