Bill Cowherd entered the electrician apprenticeship program in Virginia in July 1963, completing it in July 1967. Bill managed an electrical contracting business in Northern Virginia until he moved to Florida in 1990. Following years of work at the Cape, he launched Bill Cowherd Electric in March 1994. In 1998, Bill Cowherd and Andrew Hunt came together to form Electrical Energy Systems. Unfortunately, Mr. Hunt left us suddenly in February 2012, and Bill Cowherd has maintained the operations since that time.

Since the age of six, William has been part of the electrical industry. After completing his studies at Penn State, he participated in the Virginia Electrical Apprenticeship program for four years while working in the family electrical business in 1963. After completing his apprenticeship, he has continued in the electrical industry to this day.
