Bill Cowherd entered the electrician apprenticeship program in Virginia in July 1963, completing it in July 1967. Bill managed an electrical contracting business in Northern Virginia until he moved to Florida in 1990. After several years at the Cape, he founded Bill Cowherd Electric in March 1994. In 1998, Bill Cowherd and Andrew Hunt came together to form Electrical Energy Systems. Tragically, Mr. Hunt passed away in February 2012, and Bill Cowherd has continued to run the business since.
Since the age of six, William has been part of the electrical industry. After attending Penn State, he spent four years in the Virginia Electrical Apprenticeship program while working for the family business in 1963. He finished his apprenticeship and has been in the field ever since.
