We've been punting on electrical work in and around the house for some time, with over the top quotes and half baked assessments.
Are we glad we came across Tony and Electrical Control SF! Tony's the best. He is very knowledgeable and up to date. He's got a keen eye for features, safety and aesthetics. We got a great all around assessment, a very fair quote and a quick (for SF at least) start date.
He adjusted to our scope changes onsite. We could trust him enough for us not to be home. Very clear about what we needed to get vs what he'll get and patient with our questions. Responsive on text, phone and email.
The work was quick, efficient and top notch. They vacuumed and cleaned up pretty well. Payment was easy.
Overall a great end-end service experience. Which isn't something we can say often these days in SF for getting stuff done around the house.

Professional people, and Tony the owner generously offered a free visit because of a scheduling mishap. They came to diagnose the problem, and thoroughly examined my smoke detectors to gauge what the issue was. No bullshit.

I needed the buzzer repaired on a front door for one of my listings. He was very communicative when it came to setting the appointment. He showed up on time (was even a few minutes early!) and completed the job efficiently. He even explained what happened in the first place to make it malfunction - and gave an estimated lifespan for the repair.

I contacted Tony for a couple of projects - installing additional wall outlets and diagnosing a problem with our recessed lighting.
First off, Tony arrived on time and made quick work of the outlet installation.
Next up, he looked at the recessed lights and figured they had a short circuit (Our roofers accidentally nailed through one of the power lines). He needed another person to help him with it so decided to come back at a later time.
As planned, he again arrived on time and got to work immediately - in about 30 mins, he had the fault isolated. In another 30 he was out of the door :)
His charges were reasonable and he was extremely pleasant to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others and he'll be the first person I call the next time I need any electrical work done.

Tony is probably the friendliest person I've met in SF. He's super helpful, super responsive, does a great job and his price is reasonable/cheap.
