I hired electric smart for a panel upgrade and a Tesla charger at first I really did not want to since they had no reviews but decided to give it a try. bernie had an answer to all my questions, he came over took a look at the job for free give us a good price and better options on how to run the pipes for the EV charger and way cheaper than other electricians that just wanted to get the job. berny and his team did a great job and passed inspection whit the city the first time, highly recommended. will hire them again

Berny and his team are great! They showed up on time and did the work with minimal damage to the walls. They cleaned up after themselves and were very friendly. We brought them in to install ceiling fans and add recessed lights. But they also ended up helping us resolve a few other problems in our garage. We would certainly recommend Electric Smart as they know their business and are honest and friendly!

They were willing to work on a holiday, at no extra charge. They showed up on time (actually, they texted to ask if they could arrive a little earlier). They took 1 hour and fifteen minutes to change one ceiling fan for another, whereas another company had said it would take 3 hours. I've had ceiling fans replaced before, and it didn't take 3 hours. When the guy from Electric Smart finished, I mentioned the 3-hour estimate given by the other company, and he looked puzzled and said there was no reason why it should take that long.

Berny is my electrician for as long as I have a home!! This man literally saved my home and my life from a potential electrical fire! I had a contractor doing some remodel work and he got stumped when some of my plugs throughout the house stopped working. After 5 days of him trying to figure it out, I became worried as a friends parents lost their new home in an electrical fire.. I felt I need to call a licensed electrician to investigate and Berny answered the call. He was to stop by today (Saturday) to access the job so we could schedule for next week. Upon that inspection he found burnt and exposed wires from that contractors work and those wires sparked!! I was in shock at the risk to our safety Tom left us in.. Berny said he had to take care of this today and that he did. The contractor had been in the attic several times and never told us he left wires exposed and badly hooked up. He had done a lot of light changes and electrical work up there. Berny told me that a permit shld have been pulled for the amount of work done and that an inspection would have held Tom the contractor accountable. Berny fixed everything and also found that the problem with the wiring burned out a fuse. He provided the fuse, pictures and wires to me and I'm reporting the contractor to the California Contractors Board for unsafe practices. If you need a trustworthy and excellent knowledgeable electrician, I highly recommend Berny. He's also a very nice guy. I really appreciate his helping me from a potentially horrible outcome.

Really happy I found Electric Smart. Good price, prompt friendly service. And most importantly great work. I highly recommend. So many other electricians do a rush job. Electric smart has the right tools, parts, eqmt right on the truck. I had Home Sense Monitoring installed by them in my main electrical panel to monitor Solar Production vs. Consumption. Electric Smart even gave me a free new double circuit breaker he had on his work truck.

Bernie was great. Called him up on November 27, 2018 because my hard wired smoke alarm at my home was going off (so I thought). He quickly figured out that it was a separate smoke alarm that was going off. Problem solved. Asked him how much I owed him for his troubles and he said only $20. Most electricians would've charged a hard fee of $50-75 just for showing up. Not Bernie. Just looks like a stand up person who is just trying to do his job and nothing more.
