If I had to do my renovation again I would not have used them. Poor project management, no communication and sloppy work as they are going from one job to the other. Not recommended

Very professional service from the office to the tech. I called afternoon on Friday with my refrigerator out due to a breaker problem and they were able to come out and take care of the problem. I Will be using there services in the future.

Definitely feeling swindled. Serviceman came to our house in Kihei for 10 minutes to troubleshoot under cabinet lights (one
Section was not working) - he said he would look for parts and get back to me. He then said he can't get parts and that my only option was to get another strip from the builder (which I had said was very unlikely) or to have him install entire new lighting under all cabinets ($$$). My husband looked at it and it is a $5 part that we got from amazon - and he fixed it himself. Totally feel taken - $180 for 10 minutes and his only option was to charge us WAY more and basically re-do the entire kitchen. Just seems dishonest and like intentional $$$$ gauging. A $5 part vs $500+ for entire new under cabinet lights... nice enough fellow... but obviously he was trying to get us with the latter. It felt like a mechanic shop saying we need a new engine when in reality we only need a new starter. Not a great feeling as a customer to feel taken advantage of. We are honest people and paid the $180 bill... but we will be sharing our experience with those we care about so they are not taken as well.

Liked these guys. Personable, knowledgeable, answer the phone, show up. Hawaii can be a challenge when it comes to professional services...to say the least. These guys are straightforward.

I had a great experience with Electric Service of Maui! Starting with Laurie, the office manager being great to communicate with, to Ikaika (electrician) arriving on time, being both the sweetest, most polite guy, and then doing an excellent job installing a 220 line for my ceramic kiln. He was apologetic about the cost when doing the estimate, and then came in quite a bit under the original estimate, which was even better!
I'd be happy to call them again for any future electric needs.

These guys were excellent. Laurie in the office was totally on it, super helpful and great to work with. Greg who did the work was honest, professional and did a great job. We struggled for days to find anyone who would even call back or who was willing to do a small job of an outlet install so we could wall mount our TV. Highly recommend them!
