Had some dead outlets. GFCI is tripping and cannot be reset. Searched on HomeAdvisor and hired Electric Pros.
They charged me $125 for a 5-min inspection and asked $600 more for the replacement of all receptacles on the same circuit. I said no thanks.
Turns out that their inspection was BS. I solved the issue by myself.
All devices are good. It's just that some GFCIs are hard to reset. Push the button firmly with a screw driver, hear the click, and the power restores.
Electric Pros' electrician knew very well about this, but he didn't even try it and just want to gouge the customers with unnecessary repairs. Way too greedy.
You get the idea...just stay away from this company, or the whole HomeAdvisor BS.

I went on HomeAdvisor to find them. My appt was scheduled and I received a confirmation email with the date/time. Here I am and my appt was at 11 and no one shows up. I call around 12:45 and speak to a gentlemen who says he'll have the tech call me with an ETA. Yet, he doesn't take down my name/number. I'm thinking maybe he was using caller id and figured it out. I wait, and still no callback. I call again around 2:30 and leave a message. At 3:00 pm a lady calls me back and says they just didn't have me on the schedule until Monday. Unreal. Very disorganized and extremely unprofessional!!

I was in the process of moving and since Electric Pros seemed to be in my area I decided to call to set up a removal of my chandelier, and replace it with a ceiling fan. My worse mistake I ever made. I called them a week prior, and everything seemed to be ok. The day of install I called them to get an ETA, and the woman said they are running late. Ok, no problem. I waited over 2 hours, and I get a call from the electrician himself (Clint Thompson) saying he's going to be late. I give him some slack because I know some jobs may be longer than others and he says he'll contact me when he's on his way. So I waited, and I waited.... by this time I get a call saying ""oh I didn't realize you are in downtown, it's going to be 2 hours before I can get there, I'm afraid we need to reschedule."" I clearly didn't have time to reschedule another week out, as he said would be his next available. I stated to him I needed it done today! He proceeded to chuckle and said it wasn't possible for him to come today, even though I made appointment a week ago and could not reschedule for another week. He said he would call me back to reschedule for the next few days if available and still have not received any call back. This is the worse, unorganized, and unprofessional company I've ever contacted! Avoid this place at all cost! You'll be waiting on them, if you have all the time in the world to wait for a company who doesn't show up and reschedules on you this is your company.

They came out and replaced a circuit breaker panel over the weekend on quick notice. The technician was very nice and worked quickly. The 2300 for panel replacement was a little on the high end. They do not do drywall repair, however, so I will need to hire someone to repair the 3 inch gap. Also they charged 325 to pull a permit which I did not notice on the invoice until it was too late. I would have done it myself had I known that was how much they charged and I feel a little bit taken advantage of on that part. I had to call them a couple weeks later because they never bothered to pull the permit after charging me such an exorbitant rate.

I hired them to do some electrical trouble shooting and fixtures replacement. They never called or showed up. I called their office and they told me they will send a technician, but no one came!

Called regarding some problems with outlets failing. Electrician called and said he would be an hour late. Appreciated the call. Arrived ok and began tracing the problem.
After diagnosis it was traced back to the circuit breakers and he determined that they simply were loose and proceeded to reseat them. Problem solved.
Quick and efficient service. Priced right and will use them again in the future

I am a local Real Estate Broker and work mostly Dallas and Collin Counties. I needed a good electrician in Corinth and was referred to Electric Pros. Justin was prompt to respond to my inquiry and schedule my service request. Nate was the electrician assigned to the property - He was not only on time, but was professional, courteous and made sure my questions were answered. He and his team even cleaned up after the repair. I would definitely call them again!

I recently had The Electric Pros come out to install 5 canned lights in my kitchen. They did an excellent job with the install! It was super fast and very professional. I was so pleased with their work I had them come out for a second job to install ceiling fans and a flood light outside on my porch. I was very pleased with the timing and experience that they showed me. I plan to have them come back soon :). I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

I called these guys to replace several outlets that weren't working. The electrician that came out was on time, worked fast, and had them working faster than what was originally said. He left the work areas clean with no mess for me to clean up. They will definitely be getting my business with any future electrical needs. I highly recommend them

Your technician was here on July 8th, 2015 to install a new electrical panel.
He started at around 9:15 and said it would take ""no more than 4 hours.""
Since the HVAC would be off, I told him that I was going up the street to Starbucks to wait and asked him to call or text me when he was finished.
After FIVE hours I sent him a text but heard nothing back, so I returned to the house and found the garage door closed.
Upon inspecting the door closing mechanism I found that the track hook was disengaged, indicating that the door had been manually closed since the power was off.
I reengaged the track hook and switched on the power.
When I opened the garage door that I found that one of the rollers was completely off the track.
This prevented the door from closing at all.
It took me 30 minutes to remove the roller and remount it properly.
I charge a minimum of $100 an hour for the work that I do so I need to be compensated $50 for my time.
I already notified you about this via email to your Yahoo address and included a photo of the damage but you did not have the courtesy to reply. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB and, if you don't respond, I will post reviews at other review sites.
RESPONSE TO OWNER'S RESPONSE:
The owner was NOT with me at the time of service. Your technician was not only inconsiderate when he didn't let me know he was finished, he was careless when he opened or closed the garage door and the roller wheel jumped off the track. I have placed a photo with my review as proof of my claim. If you are a reputable business you will compensate me for my time and patience.
