We recently purchased a house that needs a lot of TLC... During the night, half of the house went dark - 110V leg cut off. We were not sure if the short was in the meter or in the primary box. We called Gulf Power who looked at the situation and explained the short was in the primary box - and then turned off the power to the house.
We called Electric Light Construction, explained our plight, and they came immediately out to evaluate and then fix the situation. As fortune would have it, this was in the midst of a very powerful storm that lasted the full time of the outside repair. They got soaked!
They had to totally replace the fuse box and all circuit breakers inside of the box. Because the Gulf Power turned off the power, we needed an inspection before the power could be turned on... ELC provided a fully turn-key solution.
The price was excellent for the work performed! The workmen were professional. We now have our electricians. Thank you ELC

Our insurance agent advised us to upgrade our electrical breaker panel (circa 1965) that contained a fused main breaker to a 100-Amp Main Breaker Load Center.

We requested estimates from three companies and selected Paul Holmes with Electric Light Construction to do the work. Paul pulled the permit and coordinated the job with Gulf Power and the city inspector.

Paul was prompt, professional and tidy--everything went smoothly. Surprisingly, Electric Light's estimate was $610 less than one company and $210 less than the other. Needless to say, I will be recommending Paul Holmes / Electric Light Construction to all my friends.
