I hired Electric Lee for two tasks: Installing three smart light switches and an exterior outlet. The exterior outlet appears to be have been done properly. However, all three smart light switches were incorrectly wired. Two big (and appalling issues): #1 He didn't bother to connect the ground wire and #2) He didn't bother to read the terminal labels and connected the 'load' wire to the 'traveler' terminal and not the 'load' terminal. This resulted in non-functional lights. I'd think the lack of ground is a code violation, and being so careless as to not even read the terminal labels is inexcusable. I reported the wiring issue and they promptly refunded my money for the switch portion of the work. While I appreciate the refund, the level of incompetency exhibited will steer me away from never using them again.


In the attached photo you can see the unconnected ground wire. I already moved the load wire to the proper terminal. The electrician had the top black wire connected to the red terminal.

I would have given one star, but the prompt refund bumped them up a star.

Thorough, honest, on-time. Electric Lee was a sub-contractor to our GC, and even after the GC went under, Electric Lee came back and fixed some things on their own dime.

Electric Lee was the C10 contractor I selected for a 400A panel swap for a proposed ADU on my property. Devrin and Thorin were the contacts for this project and are great communicator's, keeping me informed on the process along the way. Gage was the actual installer and is professional, hardworking and extremely knowledgeable.
Price point was very good considering other quotes for this type of work.
I can recommend this outfit for all electrical work for your home without hesitation. They have earned their reputation as the go to electrical company in the San Diego region.

Did very nice job connecting power to a 240v hot tub. Professional outfit, used a very smart and low cost approach that saved me quite a bit of money vs other contractors suggestions, cleaned up well and were not sketchy. I did not have to micromanage them or wonder if they were going to walk off with any of my stuff. Will definitely be using them again.

Selected Electric Lee as one of my bids for some home electrical work. They were by far the most professional right up front in communicating, scheduling and giving a detailed estimate. Based on that, I had them do the work over a few days, which composed of replacing a bathroom light-fan combo, replacing numerous indoor and outdoor electrical sockets and two bedroom fans, and removing a hard-wired timer. They also helped me troubleshoot some other issues. Before, during and after the work they were always effective communicators, the work was done professionally on-time and on budget. When the bathroom fan replacement was not the correct unit, our technician Zach, worked quickly with a colleague to get the right unit delivered so he could finish the installation. We really appreciated this extra effort because Zach was already at the end of his working day and he'd been working in 100 degree heat since early morning. He could've easily punted the install until another day, leaving us hanging. Instead, he worked into the evening and completed it. The next day another tech, Marcus, came in and quickly replaced the bedroom fans. Great friendly service with pro results. We will absolutely use them again.

requested 2 fans be replaced and wiring to checked since it was probably a DIY job 35 years ago. Anyway, Zack was sent and he the best. Competent, confident and congenial. Zack was prepared with the extras I was unaware I needed and explained everything as he diligently continued to work. I would high recommend this family business and their employee Zack.

We wanted to replace some GFCI outlets and Lee and friends quoted us $600 for 3 outlets and 2 hours of work. When the job was done it came under for a total of ~$450. We were very pleased with the affordability.

Other places like Premo Electric quoted us $1k per GFCI outlet, which would have costed us $3k which didn't seem right to us for something that sounded relatively simple.

Prices vary so much and it's hard knowing which companies are legit vs which ones will happily take an arm and a leg. So thankful for Lee and friends for making it affordable for people to make their homes safer.

I can't say enough great things about these guys. Devron and his team have done electrical work on a remodel I own and they were awesome about working within my budget and not pressuring me to do unnecessary work and upgrades. I hade about 5 quotes from other electricians, some thou$and$ more. At the end of the day, it wasn't so much about the money

I spoke with Devron on the phone regarding the work I wanted done. I sent photos of the fixtures that I needed changed. I had fluorescent lights that I wanted changed to LED lights in various places. Zach came to do the job. He was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. The work was done quickly and I am happy with the results. I will use Electric Lee again for any electric jobs that need to be done.
