I live in a 70-year-old house. So some of my electrical needs go well beyond my skills. I needed a licensed professional to upgrade and relocate two outlets. I called Electric for You and spoke with Sofia--the very professional and courteous business owner. She sent me a text with the price estimate and dispatched the electrician, Victor. Victor is very skilled and conscientious. Some of the other vendors I contacted wanted anywhere from $75 to $90 just for showing up at my door. The work was completed professionally and promptly on the same day. Regarding the job itself, it was more than I requested because I didn't understand how unsafe the situation was. The price was not cheap but it was fair. And I'm better because of it. Electric For You will be my go-to electrical contractor in the future.

Victor did an amazing job at my house. His price was better than other local estimates I received, and he even fixed a few extra things he noticed along the way for free. Everything was done to code and very well organized. This is a family business and I always like to work with owners directly. The electrician came out to replace my neighbor's breaker box and noticed mine had been blown out as well. He took a picture and let my neighbor know to contact me. I asked him to come back and replace my breaker box as well. He turned around, picked up another breaker box and replaced mine within an hour.

For me, this company was unreliable and a waste of time. I made an appointment weeks ahead to get an estimate for ceiling lights all over the house. I reached out and confirmed the appointment with them the day before. But no one showed up at our appointment time. I had to reach out only to find out that he was on the other side of town. He promised he'd drive over in 30 minutes so we waited. He arrived past that but I tried to understand that traffic can be erratic on Saturdays. The real issue is that a week later I still didn't have an estimate. I sent them a text just in case they lost my email or number. And I got a reply back that an estimate is on the way. But 2 weeks later, still nothing. What a joke

The electrician didn't show up twice. It's not worth it to give them a chance. First, they said ""family emergency"" so I gave them a second chance but failed miserably. The number they text you from doesn't even take a phone call saying my number wasn't an authorized number. Be aware of this ridiculous business.
