I can recommend Electric Empire without reservation.

Like most people I have had my share of contractors who were flaky, non-communicative and hard to work with.

Trace gets an A+ for communication and commitment to meeting the customer's needs.

I had a medium sized job that was not time sensitive and a very small job that I needed done right away. Trace had a full schedule, but I was able to send pictures and specifications on a 220 volt plug change via email and he responded quickly with an estimate.

The schedule had me resigned to waiting, but he was able to fit the small job in much earlier than I expected. He was responsive and communicative though out the process.

I would say he is a man who likes what he does and who wants to do the best job possible.

We had some electrical troubles in our house, and couldn't get our outlets working. The outlets affected our network ince we do work from home, we knew we had to call professionals. On an early morning call, Trace agreed to come by and take a look. Both Trace and Mike showed up at my house, immediately went to troubleshooting the issue, and were able to fix our electrical problems. They were both professional and polite, and were helpful in pointing out the issues for my understanding. Huge thanks!

Trace and his guys did a great job at my place installing recessed lights, ceiling fans, plugs and fixing improper wiring in the garage. They were all very nice, attentive and kept their work areas as clean as possible. They went above and beyond to get what I wanted done and didn't try to charge extra in the end. Trace was very professional and responsive from the first time I contacted him to the completion of the job. Price was very good. We had a situation where the electricity was out in half the house. My house is older (1977) and I was really worried that it was going to turn out to be something major. I called Trace, and he was very honest and up front about their pricing. He assured me that 98% of the time the problem could be fixed for the troubleshooting fee. He also said if it was something major he would provide a written estimate that I could shop around. His crew showed up right when promised, chased the problem down, and had it fixed within the promised time frame. Would definitely recommend this service.

I really loved working with Trace and the crew. They did exactly what I needed when I bought my older home. From installing a ceiling fan where none existed to putting in an outlet in the garage. They even cleaned up after themselves when the job was done. Highly recommended!

We were working on a project that required a wallpaper installer and an electrician. You wouldn't believe what a pain in the butt it is to contact these guys and get estimates for the work (literally it was a CLOSET remodel so a very SMALL area). Trace provided an itemized quote via email and was quick and easy to schedule and work with. I thought installing a double outlet, can light, and switch for $375 was a bit steep but when I look back on it, the professionalism, quality of work, and easiness to work with Trace made the money worth it. In stark contrast to Trace, I was unable to get a fair quote from any wallpaper installers I contacted and we ended up doing the work ourselves. Lesson learned - go with the pros.
