Buyers Beware! High pressure sales for work that does not need to be completed. Cancelled work after getting feedback from two separate more experienced electricians who stated the quoted work was ""absolutely ridiculous"". No response or refund of our $4100 deposit after numerous calls! The actual work required by a responsible electrician was $1600 total and work complete the day of inspection.

$700 to replace one smoke/cm detector and tried to sell me on replacing all of them in my house because one malfunctioned. Then did a ""safety"" checklist which purported to tell me all the electrical problems I had with my (6 year old) house in order to get me to sign up for a membership with the company. I didn't ask for a house check. The up sell goes on ... bottom line. I wouldn't call this company again.

if you want the best and most knowledgable electrician around Katy, call this company. I called Carry out to a house that I am building because I suspected that the electrician that was doing the work was not doing it correctly and I wanted to make sure that all the work was being done to code, I am not in the city limits so therefore there are no inspections. I asked Carry to check, and my God he knows his stuff, found 25 violations and a very messy job. I was shocked, I mean he found every error that this guy made and also gave me suggestions on things that I should make sure they install because it would make things easier in the future. if I had control over who to hire, I would have hired electric city, I felt that the electrical knowledge that they had was extensive and I was so thankful that he found all the errors, my builder fired the other electrician and went back with another electrician that he used for years. if I had any say Electric City would be my choice. The inspection that I hired him for was well worth it. I will definitely be calling him for any future issues with my electric.

In my experience, I found:
(1) The services are extremely overpriced.
(2) If you have them out, they will recommend you replace almost every electrical component in the house, whether it needs to be replaced or not.
(3) They refuse to provide itemized invoices and will not separate the price of services.
(4) Carry to be long-winded and salesman-like. He's not a fun person to deal with, and he is always thinking about one thing: the money.

Very responsive and reliable. Michael was on time, super knowledgeable, and explained everything. He gave several options and explained each one. He was able to do it that day once I chose.

90$ for an estimate, and it was 990$ to install a flood light on the back of my house. What a joke!!! I'd rather live in the dark than be in the dark and get ripped off

Had Brendan Sasser and Carry Jurek come by my home yesterday to look at several outlets in my home that were not charging devices. Both came timely and were very professional and courteous in their demeanor. They looked at the outlets in question and then went to the circuit breaker in my home's garage. They also looked at the other outlets in my home and the smoke detectors. Gave me an in-depth, but easy to understand, diagnosis of what was wrong with the current circuit breaker setup and breakers in it and how that was causing the outages with the affected outlets. Also recommended I install a GFCI in my downstairs bathroom. Gave me good options and prices to get the problems corrected and went to work that same evening, finishing everything within 45 minutes. Also gave me the option to enroll in their Total Care Club, which I enrolled in, as it is a great package with many benefits, such as free smoke alarm battery replacement, priority scheduling, annual electrical inspections, waiver of dispatch fees, and loyalty discounts. Was definitely happy I used this company to take care of my home's electrical needs. Would recommend to anyone who is need of these services!

I am reporting this company to the BBB. Cary came out, gave me a quote, then tried to ""encourage"" me to get the highest-priced work done. He is so disrespectful. I attached an invoice, because in the last review I wrote, a lady named Andrea T. said she is the owner and they have no record of an Alicia A. This company is very untrustworthy. When I was upset about the situation, Cary had his tech who was at my house talk to me about the payment. I refused to pay because it was priced higher than we agreed to in that initial meeting. I did end up paying but it was still about $500 over the quoted price. Do not give these people your business. Yes, they got the job done but it was a HUGE headache.

Immediate service - knowledgeable and friendly technician. I would highly recommend this business to friends and neighbors

Extremely overpriced quote! $387 to install a ceiling fan that has a remote BUT wait if I do over $2k worth of other work. They will install the fam for free.
Give me a break! Found a master electrician who did it for less than 1/4 of the price quoted.
Buyer beware.
