I GIVE ELECTRIC BROTHERS FIVE STARS, and if Yelp allowed me to, I would give this company 10 Stars!

Isaac and his crew - Edgar, Juan and all the other men - were terrific. Their expert work, cheerful demeanor, thoughtful follow-up and constant communication with me made what could have been a nightmare into a very pleasant and smooth experience.

Backstory: I had a new solar installation done on the roof of my building (a four-unit apartment bldg in Mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles). I was looking forward to cutting down on my own monthly power bill (I live in the building) and also doing something positive for our environment. But before my solar installation could be connected to the Los angeles DWP power lines, the DWP informed me that in order to connect the solar power to the city's power lines, I first had to replace ALL my two-story building's 4 electric meters (though the solar panels were just for the one unit I live in), plus install a new, bigger electric panel for my unit, plus install a more hefty pipe and wires to connect to the main DWP power line, plus do an upgrade of ALL the wiring going from the meters to the units AND then having to put in new subpanels, too! My dream of ""going solar"" was becoming a nightmare.

I was overwhelmed. It would be a huge job, not to mention costly. And, my two tenants' lives would be disrupted , along with mine, and power would have to be shut off while much of the work was done.

At first I was really upset that it was going to take a big chunk out of my savings and cause chaos in my routine. But worse, I didn't even know where to BEGIN to look for an electrical contractor to tackle such a job! My regular electrician could not handle a job this big and he had no idea where I could find such a contractor. I would need a contractor that was used to handling large jobs in commercial apartment buildings - dealing with lot of moving parts and potential, unforeseen complications. I couldn't sleep well worrying about it!

Well, I sincerely believe that Providence had a hand in leading me to Electric Brothers. I was getting so discouraged that I wasn't even getting return calls from all the larger contractors I saw listed in Yelp and elsewhere. Then I saw a great Yelp review for Electric Brothers, and as I scrolled down there were more and more good reviews from happy customers. I called their phone number, Edgar answered and from that moment on, everything just went great.

Without getting into more details, let me just summarize that every fear or anxiety I had beforehand vanished as Isaac (the co-owner, head electrician) explained how they would tackle the work in such a way as to minimize disruption and inconvenience for me and for my tenants. He laid out a plan of action and explained how everything would proceed. In the end, it required 6 men to do the job over a period of six days - at times they were all working at the same time. But they all worked together great! Isaac even figured out a way for enough power to be kept on throughout the work in my building so our refrigerators were kept powered and no one lost food and we had just enough power to get by during the work.

Every day as they quit work to go home, they always cleaned up the debris outside - wood, stucco, metal parts, nails and screws - and made sure it would be safe for me and my tenants to walk through the back yard to get to our trash cans. If they worked inside the apartments, they did the same - make sure everything was left clean and tidy.

Edgar, the brother who handles the office and customer service, was a joy to communicate with. He kept in constant touch with me to keep me in the loop and update me when there were City inspections or necessary changes in scheduling. He always responded to my calls, texts or emails without fail. He was always friendly, cheerful and helpful.

Today, the DWP signed off on the final inspection and though I was relieved to be done with all inspections, and happy that all the work was done right and everything working as it should, I will miss Edgar, Isaac, Juan and all the guys. This is a very professional, considerate and very nice group of men.

As you can see in the photos, the DWP required a massive amount of new pipes, wires, connections and electrical boxes and panels. It kind of looks like the inside of a ship's engine room! Luckily, it's all pretty hidden from view in the back yard and once I have the metallic surfaces painted to match the walls, it will look way less noticeable. I am still amazed at how much work this job required, and I'm very grateful that I found the Electric Brothers to do it.

One more detail: Isaac and Edgar sent out Adrian to patch up all the holes made outside and inside because of all the new wiring. He did a great job of patching, priming and repainting both on the exterior and inside the apartment units. He's also another good fellow.

Now you can see why I give Electric Brothers a TEN!

I hired electric Brothers to perform a job in my house. They were recommended to me by a friend who had worked done by them. He was extremely happy on the job done by electric Brothers. They are very professional and attentive to detail. Juan & the another gentleman showed up on time to start the job in my house. Through out the whole time they were at my house they were super professional and respectful. What most got my attention is how detailed they are in performing the job from start to finish. I will hire them again. Juan & the other gentleman answered all my questions. Hard to find a company that really cares. Isacc is running a great company and I support local business. Sal and his crew did an amazing job on a project upgrading all of the outlets and switches in our house. They were extremely professional, punctual, and courteous.

Electric brothers were able to give us a competitive price, coming in a little less than some of the other estimate we got, and the service they provided went above and beyond my expectations. The Electric Brothers are awesome!!! Isaac and Eric make an excellent team. I worked with them to update the electrical panel, recessed lights, and a few other small electrical fixes on a property I was renovating. They started almost immediately because I had a small timeframe to complete the job. They were very flexible and honest. During the project when difficulties arose, they were able to work with me to get them quickly resolved!!!

My mom's house was having problems running the new air conditioning. Every other day, the circuit breakers would trip. The electric panel was very old and needed to be upgraded. I found Electric Brothers on Yelp and decided to ask them to do a quote along with two other companies. From the beginning, Electric Brothers was professional and timely. Isaac came out to do the initial consult. He was on time and was also very polite to my mother. He gave me an accurate estimate via email within the time frame promised. Isaac also suggested my mom pull the electric permit to save her some money, instead of having Electric Brothers do it. After comparing rates, I went with Electric Brothers because they were comprehensive with their quote but also cheaper than the other two companies. They also offered a 1 year warranty on their work. I added the scope of the work and asked for interior garage access to the circuit breakers and they redid the quote to accommodate the request. The price was still reasonable. After I hired Electric Brothers to do the work, they coordinated with me the scheduling of the work alongside our need to pull the electric permit from the city and getting the meter spotted, and waiting for the various city inspections to be completed. Sal and his crew came out and finished the job in two days. They also went above and beyond and helped tidy up my mom's water heater connections so she could pass final inspection. Sal kept me informed of what they were doing and the progress they were making. The work was done well. After the city inspector came out to do the rough inspection, the screws needed to be changed to the anti-corrosive kind. Electric Brothers came out within a few days to do so. They also scheduled Adrian to do the lath work and stucco work. Adrian was professional and timely, and did a fantastic job on both the exterior and interior walls. He did the work despite the high heat conditions. I did have a few concerns or questions during the project, but Edgar was able to answer all of them for me very promptly. The whole electrical panel upgrade to 200 amps went very smoothly and my mother is very pleased with the work. During the height of the heat wave in early April, the air conditioning worked without any problems. I highly recommend this company!! They do amazing professional work and they are polite and respectful.

I contacted Electric Brothers to give me a bid to replace an electric panel and 4 disconnect switches in the basement boiler room of a six story apartment building I manage. Issac provided me with a very competitive bid and he was awarded the job. His crew performed the job flawlessly. They minimized the time that the hot water was down for my residents, used quality materials and did an excellent job of installing the panels and disconnects. I needed a dedicated outlet so I called Electric Brothers. Isaac came out, gave me an estimate, and scheduled a date for the work to be done. Eric and Augusta showed up on time. These two men are awesome! They work great together, they are professional, friendly, and respectful. They added a couple of outlets that I didn't expect but was so happy to get. So I was having internet issues at the home and the cable tech checked the line and saw that it was burned from the inside and that this is usually due to electrical issues. It was finally time for me to get some work done that my dad had been postponing for years.

After looking around I came across Electric Brothers, a small and local business, so I went with them. I am super glad that I did. When I called them up, Edgar came to the house and reviewed our old and aging panel. At the start I knew that this was going to be the major thing so that was expected. I also wanted to do a few things to improve the house and that have been annoying us since we've lived here. We got a decent estimate for the the new panel, adding lighting to the living room, fixing the lights in the garage, changing 4 outlets from being controlled by a switch and to be hot, and changing those outlets to control some new ceiling fans that would be installed.

There were some delays at first but not at the fault of Electric Brothers. Some delays getting an inspector in and then also the inspector saying that we needed to move the AC condenser. Electric Brothers saved me a major headache of having to look around for someone and they got me in touch with an HVAC guy that they work with. James at JG Heating and Air got back to me quick and we sorted out the move. They let me know of the possible problems that could come up from moving this AC system and price was good. Before I was able to talk to James I had a different company come in and they did not tell me any of the potential problems so I was more confident in going with the person that Electric Brothers recommended. His team also helped me remove some shrubbery and since JG and Electric Brothers are in contact with each other they were able to coordinate a lot better with one another so that the main electrical project could begin the following morning.

The team for the electrical project were great. Eric and his team worked well together and made sure to keep things as clean as possible and cleaned up after each part of the job was done. Panel took two days to install, one for grounding and another to install the panel. They did great work and pointed out some non-electrical issues that we should check out. After the panel was installed it was another 2 days to take care of the quality of life requests inside the house. They again made sure to keep things clean. The real only thing that was different when they were done was the new ceiling fans and new lights and everything else seemed as if it was left untouched. They even helped me unplug an old wall oven that had not been working and helped me move it to the street.

The final results on the inside projects were amazing and made me wonder why we didn't do this sooner. The living room is were the most drastic change could be seen. The new lighting really opened it up and it just feels so much bigger now. The ceiling fans will definitely make things a lot more bearable during the hot days until I can get with JG on helping with insulation and a new central system.

I would definitely recommend Electric Brothers to anyone. They did an amazing job. Nothing felt rushed and communication was great with everyone. Even my dad who was hesitant on getting anyone in was super impressed by their work. After they were done, my parents were thankful that I went with them. After they were done I was already thinking of other projects that we could have them do in the future. Check these guys out and support a good small business.

We hired Isaac and his crew to do an electrical panel upgrade for our single family home. The project included the new panel install, which required relocation of our panel, running new external conduits to the roof mount, and installing a new conduit box where the old box used to be. They also gave an accurate and honest assessment of a corroding old conduit running underground from the house to our detached garage. Based on that assessment, we decided to run a new conduit and install a smaller two-switch panel in the garage. They then brought in their wall guy to patch and paint everything as needed. In short, I could not be happier with their work, professionalism and attitudes. They had a foreman who ran the process smoothly and maintained quality control, kept them on schedule and got it all done efficiently and with a high quality work product. Their wall guy was also great and left our exterior stucco and interior drywall looking seem less and brand new. Pictures attached. They also took care of inspections/permitting and scheduling LADWP to upgrade the wires running from the grid to our rooftop, which was completed seamlessly. And reasonably priced to top it all off.

These are definitely the guys you want on any electrical project. I would not look anywhere else. Shout out to Isaac (the owner), Eric (his brother), Minor (foreman) and the guys. Wish you lots of success. You deserve it.

I don't even know where to begin, I was looking for trustworthy electricians who get the job done ASAP along with quality work, I inquired other electricians and decided to choose Electric Brothers. Isaac came promptly and we walked through each room and spoke about what was needed and the steps in which we will follow through with this big electrical work plan. Isaac and his team were very professional, the job was done in one week and the team (Juan, Agusto, Jesus) did a wonderful job, made zero to no holes, worked around the businesses schedule to ensure no noise was being made when clients were present, and answered all of my questions. Isaac even went out of his way to find someone to fix other issues we had such as the door step which is much appreciated! They provide excellent service, in a timely manner, and are very professional. I would recommend electric brothers to anyone and everyone who needs electrical work!
