After calling multiple electricians and getting multiple quotes, I am glad that I hired Jae (and his very polite and helpful assistant) to replace my main and subpanel. I had had a Federal Pacific panel that was prone to fires. Jay very calmly and confidently replaced it and handled all the permit hassles. My last electrician (who I needed to replace) had made me think that this was an epic job that would take more than a year - he was clearly out of his depth.

Jay, however, replaced the panel in a month or so (it took this amount of time due to scheduling inspections). He also upgraded my box from 100 volt to 200 volt.

In short, Jae made the whole project look easy, which is a true sign of competence in any field. He also gave me the best quote on price, so what's not to like?

We called Jai on a recommendation from a friend.
An outlet in the garage was sparking and we wanted it to be replaced.
Jai came later that day. He quoted us $280.
He worked on it a long time and also suggested further upgrades we could use for the future.
We paid him $300.
All of a sudden a light on the driveway wasn't working and two switches inside the house, associated with that outlet he installed stopped working.
We called him back after a couple of days and he said it was a different problem. He was immediately defensive and said we were trying to get more work out of him for the measly $300 we paid him. My husband got angry and said we would write a very transparent review on Yelp. Jai considered it a threat.
He then texted me and said he didn't appreciate being yelled at. I told him I was right there and that I heard the entire conversation.
He did offer to come back and look at it, however, his attitude and defensiveness was totally uncalled for.
We had another electrician look at the problem and he showed us a wire that was not connected in the outlet. He said it could have been inadvertent or came loose, but either way, it was not done right.
He fixed the problem and everything is back to the way it was.

All Jai had to say was let me look at it and not have included the angry attitude. We are offended that he also said we were trying to get more work out of him without paying anything extra. We just wanted him to fix the problem.

We called Jae to change 22 light bulbs in our 10 ft. ceilings. He was here for
about an hour and a half. Our total invoice was $600.00 not including the price of bulbs. That is $30 a bulb, totally overpriced. Professional and quick, but $30 a bulb for very straight forward change out is waaaaaaay overpriced. Next time I'll get up on the ladder myself, wow!

I wanted to put a 240V NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage to charge my Tesla (but not be limited to Tesla). My neighbor referred me to Jae. I was extremely satisfied with Jae's professionalism and workmanship. I would highly recommend him for your electrician needs.

Jae and this crew recently completed all of the electrical work in my new ADU (in law unit) build, this also required moving the electrical coming into the primary house.

From the get go Jae was very professional with this approach in providing estimate, suggestion, and finalizing the contract. His numbers were extremely reasonable. I throughly enjoyed working with him, his work was very clean. He will always cleaned up after the work. As part of any bigger project there few hiccups due to external reason, but Jae responsibly accommodated the change in plans.

It would have been pretty difficult to get this project done with out a partner like Jae. I highly recommend Jae and his crew.

I found Jae through a Craigslist ad as I was looking to have a Tesla Wall Charger installed in my garage. Jae was super responsive and we set up an appointment for the next day to look at the work requested. He texted me a detailed quote and his price was reasonable from what I was seeing online so we agreed to do the work. Jae showed up on time during the installation day and had another person come onsite to help him run the cable through my attic. When all said and done, it took about 4 hours and 120 feet of cable to get it from my electrical box to the spot in the garage. The install looks super clean and got me excited to test it out. Since my new Model Y had not arrived yet, I called my friend over in her Model 3 to test it out and it worked perfect pulling 32 amps, charging at 33 miles per hour. Jae and his contractor cleaned up the job site and even wiped my hardwood floors to remove all the drywall dust. After he left, I noticed that my dishwasher and garburator were not working so I notified Jae. He came back out the next afternoon to look at my breaker panel and two breakers were flipped to the off position. I should have noticed that so it could have saved him a trip over, so that is my bad. Jae provided me with great service and I would not hesitate to call him again when I have further electrical work.

Jae was amazing ! I was in a time crunch with kitchen counter install project . He put a new electrical outlet above stove for microwave with short notice . Then came back to install kitchen outlets to GFI outlets . Then I had electrical switches go out that a handy man didn't do right at all. He had to fix all that . We just got an electric car, so I called around to get quotes for a simple upgrade of our electrical junction box. The local Electrician (our friend recommended) agreed that it was easy to change the 30A breaker to a new 50A one. But I wanted to do it right, with new wiring, conduit and a modern NEMA 14-50R outlet. For this he quoted $900 - $1100. A couple other Electricians quoted a bit less, but were flaky and unresponsive.

I was surprised when Jae quoted much less, and made sure I explained what needed to be done. Jae showed up on time, and worked diligently for two hours to install the new outlet. I tested it as soon as he left, and everything worked great! He sent me a text with all the information of the work done, and I was still surprised he kept the final invoice as quoted.

Really nice guy, very professional work, easy to schedule and on-time. Can't ask for much more than that when looking for a licensed Electrician. Highly recommend Jae and would use him again in the future.
