Rudy is professional, skillful and honest. You will NOT be overcharged or oversold. I bought a house & was told by inspector several outlets need to be grounded. Every electrician I called before Rudy made it sound like it's a major endeavor. Rudy walked me through the process and gave me a very reasonable price for the job. And he completed the work on time and at the price he quoted. He also made sure to use the least invasive way to pull the ground wires to minimize damaging the walls. I re-hired him to install Ring security system throughout my property and had the same positive experience. Can't say enough good things about him.

I would highly recommend Rudy from Electech for all of your electrical needs, especially if you live in Diamond Bar or any of its surrounding cities. All projects were completed according to current city/state codes and in a careful, thorough, and professional manner. Here is a brief list of services that Rudy performed:
Installed a bathroom ventilation fan (with attic exhausts to push the steam out of my house)
Separated my bathroom switch in order to isolate the ventilation fan from the main light
Repaired several sockets throughout my house that were loose
Replaced my Electrical panel from 100 to 200.

Another reason for why I would recommend Rudy is his massive network of business connections. Since he has worked near the Diamond Bar area for decades, he has formed strong relationships people that you will need for other home renovations. For example, he has great recommendations for people that can patch drywalls and stucco (which are things that all home renovations will have to deal with). He also seems to have connections with local city inspectors (which helps the homeowner with doing projects according to local codes).

On a personal level, Rudy was a wonderful person to chat with. He is very personable and showed patience during my 100 trivial questions.

Called Electech due to a breaker that wouldn't reset on my back house. Rudy quickly figured out the problem, an outside ""weather proof"" plug that had corroded. While here I asked for a quote to upgrade my main breaker box to 200 amp. He noticed that we had a FPE main breaker box and suggested we Google it. I did and learned that these have a Stab-Lok circuit breakers, which run a significant risk of breaker malfunction and fire. Since I had planned to upgrade my breaker box from a 100 amp to a 200 amp circuit anyway, I had Electech do this work. Electech showed up on time, completed the work quickly, and even did a couple of other electrical tasks all for the originally quoted price. I cannot say enough good things about this company.

I'm highly recommending ElecTech, Rudy the owner, for electrical residence and commercial work. As many of us know, when we need to get something fixed you want someone who is highly recommended, competent, conscientious, professional and a friendly personality that you'd want working on your house. Rudy's da man!

Rudy was on time for my appointment, provided a professional and detailed quote that was emailed the same day. After a couple comparisons, I believe ElecTech's quote was a reasonably priced for upgrading my electrical panel from a 100 to 200 amp. I chose a commercial grade electrical panel that he has over a couple decades of experience installing. He added a couple convenient outlets in the garage for a security camera and garage door opener, an additional switch for a bathroom fan, a switch for outdoor lighting (used a deeper switch box to house the electrical wires properly), two garage lights and an outlet for an electric vehicle. He took the time to walk me through the details of the projects from start to finish.

The work, listed above, was scheduled, then the actual work was completed in only two days. Conscientiously, Rudy obtained the initial permit, then coordinated with the city inspector to be present during the first and final inspection. I didn't need to be present because Rudy was there to make sure everything went smoothly and in compliance with city regulations.

Regarding the electrical panel, he does not replace the stucco and paint. He also does not patch the cutouts in the drywall to run the extra line for the bathroom fan switch. But he made clean cuts in the drywall and replaced the drywall cut outs for minimal drywall patching. Rudy sticks to what he does best, which is residential and commercial electrical and leaves the other stuff to homeowner to save a few dollars or another contractor. Well, Rudy helped coordinated with a reasonable and quality contractor, Victor, to finish the stucco, drywall and paint in a timely manner. By the way, make sure you know the name and brand of your paint color. I was extremely satisfied with Rudy and quality contractor's work.

In the past, I haven't had the best experiences with contractors or the like working on my fixer upper house. So, it was a pleasant surprise to have Rudy work on my house. To me and my wife, Rudy is just a quality person and we had a positive experience, start to finish with ElecTech. Again, we highly recommended Rudy as a quality electrician.
