Our name reflects our commitment; Elect Electric is the trusted choice for electrical services. We provide a comprehensive service experience that instills confidence in those we assist. We are dedicated to providing top-notch electrical service and repair. This typically involves working on existing buildings, such as homes and businesses, to enhance their functionality. Our personal aim is to excel in our craft, while our objective with clients is to ensure a seamless experience.
At Elect Electric, we pursue excellence guided by our three R's: Responsible, Respectful, Responsive. Formerly Ehinger Electric, we launched as a San Diego-based electrical construction business, focusing on public projects and tenant enhancements. In 2007, my wife and I chose to move to the central coast to be closer to our family in the Bay Area. At the same time, I was developing a new business model to shift my company from construction to a service and repair focus. Although we couldn't foresee it then, this shift in focus was timely as the construction sector faced significant downturns in the following years. Rebuilding our business from the ground up in a new part of California was tough, yet we are thankful for this opportunity. After serving clients on the central coast for over 15 years and building a reputation for quality work, we look forward to many more successful years ahead. This place is now our home, and we cherish the opportunity to serve our community!
As the son of Calvin, a mason, I have fond memories of accompanying him to work from a young age. Later, he shifted to general contracting, where he built a variety of homes. I assisted him by hauling bricks, blocks, and cement, helping with any task he had. When he built homes, I was there to lend a hand; I think I drilled my first electrical hole at age 7. Honestly, as I grew older, I developed a dislike for construction and sought other opportunities. While attending college, I took a job with an electrical contractor that was supposed to last only three days. Things went well, and I completed the work in a day and a half. He told me I could keep working if I remained productive. I realized I loved the work and had a talent for electrical wiring. Wanting to get married quickly, I dropped out of school and worked full-time as an electrician. Now, over 20 years later, I own my own business, have been happily married for 24 years, and have six children. I am grateful for all my blessings.

David W.I had just bought a vacation home in Paso Robles. After seeing their good Yelp rating. I set up a appointment for when I would be in town for only a couple days. First the work was excellent. My mistake was telling the service tech (Danny) that I had to leave in 2 days. I feel that he took advatage of my situation, in his pricing. That I would not have the time to call someone else. The tech changed me $2,023 for the installation of 2 fans, I provided and the install of 2 outlets. Total time from start to finish, 4 hours, 20 minutes. That works out to $450 per hour and maybe $20 in parts. I asked for an hourly rate, but was told, the price is by the job. It was my fault for accepting the price, but I didn't have time to call another electric service company. I wonder how many more people have been taken advantage of by Danny and Elect Electric.
