I am in the process of acquiring a permit for my ADU. I was informed to get an electrical inspection to provided documentation that all is safe and compliant. Due to the holidays I was unsure if I could get someone out to the home on such short notice. Elect Electric was quick to respond and was able to come out in 24hrs. I had just bought a vacation home in Paso Robles. After seeing their good Yelp rating. I set up a appointment for when I would be in town for only a couple days. First the work was excellent. My mistake was telling the service tech (Danny) that I had to leave in 2 days. I feel that he took advatage of my situation, in his pricing. That I would not have the time to call someone else. The tech changed me $2,023 for the installation of 2 fans, I provided and the install of 2 outlets. Total time from start to finish, 4 hours, 20 minutes. That works out to $450 per hour and maybe $20 in parts. I asked for an hourly rate, but was told, the price is by the job. It was my fault for accepting the price, but I didn't have time to call another electric service company. I wonder how many more people have been taken advantage of by Danny and Elect Electric.

We had him install smart switches in our home for control through our phones. Danny stayed until everything was set-up, explained and working!
