Was a pleasure dealing with Elcon. They answered the phone (no machine) & quoted their reasonable fees without my asking. The tech - Jason- called before arriving. He was personable and completed a repair that a previous electrician said couldn't be done. This is how a business should be run.

I called Elcon Electric on a Thursday and the following Friday morning they sent an electrician - the electricity in my kitchen was out and I couldn't figure out why. They sent Mel who did an amazing job - he didn't give up until he found out the source of my electrical problem. And, it was pretty scary since my previous handyman had jerry-rigged a plug behind my china cabinet that had shorted out - I was just lucky it didn't start a fire.

We use them for our rental properties. Excellent company!!! They speak English which makes communicating the issue to them and understanding the solution from them soooooo much easier. Wish we could plumbers, and A/C companies like this one.

John D came out to my house to give me a quote for installing a nema 14-50 outlet in my garage to charge my EV. He was on time, very transparent and honest. I also had a questions about different car chargers and a problem outlet that kept tripping. He was nice enough to give me context to help me understand everything since I have zero electrical knowledge. I now know other companies were trying to rip me off. This guy is a true professional -- highly recommend.

The second time I've used Elcon. The estimator (John) was prompt and explained the job. The project was delayed a few weeks due to permitting delays with the city. I eventually was notified that my project was commencing, and Mel ( electrician ) showed up promptly. While working he pointed out that whoever installed my jacuzzi tub had failed to install a GFI breaker that could of led to a possible safety problem...glad he found it! He worked tirelessly and did the work neatly and professionally, I had work both inside and outside the house and cannot be more pleased with the outcome and will be using them again.

I needed work done on an outdoor patio roof that was being removed and replaced. My regular electrician was no longer serving customers but recommended Elcon. I called to get an estimate on removing a ceiling fan and its wiring as well as moving an electric box and rerouting it. The estimator showed up the next day. And my estimate was $955. I laughed. I went elsewhere and got the work plus a couple of extras done beautifully the next day for $260. I assume the company just did not want my work so they insulted me with a ridiculous estimate that wasn't even itemized. Go elsewhere.
