I worked with EL-FI Homes for the installation of a 12-panel solar system on my ADU, along with a 5kW battery set to self-use mode. The entire installation was completed in just two days, and they were also detail-oriented enough to mold the tubing system in the most flattering way around our wall and paint it to match the wall.

I found them via Energy sage marketplace, and they were quick to start initial consultation call. I came into this process knowing nothing about solar panel systems. For that reason, I asked lots of questions to make sure I understood the system, the materials/models used, and expected energy production. I want to thank EL-FI Homes for providing great customer service. My solar system was installed by a company that has gone out of business. When one of my microinverters stopped functioning I had to find someone to replace it.
El-Fi gave me a quote and we set up an appointment for them to do the job. They arrived on time and figured out the best way to replace the microinverter. My roof is tile, so I really appreciated that they took the most efficient path to access the microinverter. They replaced the microinverter and then worked with Enphase to make sure the solar panel was working properly. They made sure everything was good before they left. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure I could see the solar panel was working on my monitoring software. To be honest I was a little nervous about trusting a company that did not have that many reviews on Yelp but I have to say they did everything the way they said they would. They honored their quote, they showed up on time and they handled themselves in a professional manner. Uday the owner is an honest and knowledgeable person who will treat you right! Uday and his crew came out to install some CTs for my Enphase system. They were efficient and did a clean install, had the conduit made and mounted nicely, and painted it to match the stucco. They are knowledgeable and showed great communication throughout the process.

The contractor was responsive and got out to my home for an estimate quickly. I spoke with them about my future plans of getting an EV, so I needed a system that would be able to handle that eventually. I got a technical estimate, and they listened to my concerns about panel placement. I had some updates to my electrical panel and roofers at the same time that I was worried about. They had to coordinate with roofers, and I was impressed they went the extra mile to make sure the project got done on time and were there when they said they'd be.

After installation, they cleaned up after themselves. Getting the panels was a stretch for the budget with the other work I'm having done, but the energy they're producing is within the estimate, and they're working like they're supposed to. With the net metering, I think it's been worth it
