Trying to find contractors in a new city is a difficult task. Yelp helped us locate EJC Electricity. Emilio is the owner and answered our request for service within minutes of our submission. An appointment was made for the next day. Emilio arrived on time and even called before his arrival to say he was ten minutes out. Emilio greeted us in a friendly and professional manner. We discussed our proposed work and a future project. Emilio was scheduled for the job, arrived on time, and was ready to work. His assistant, Patricio, accompanied him. The work involved running a new electrical line, installing a new outlet box in the ceiling for a ceiling fan; installing the fan; replacing electrical outlets in the house and for our well; and replacing and installing new outdoor flood lights and cameras. Emilio treats his customers with respect. He also maintains an immaculate work environment, always cleaning up after his work. His prices are more than reasonable. Emilio is EJC Electricity and is an example of a professional electrician who works with the homeowner to find solutions, get the work done, and charge a reasonable fee. Thank you!

Emilio and EJC were very professional. They were able to do the installation within the scheduled appointment time. The 4 pendant light wiring was tucked away in a clean manner, and he was even able to improvise because my existing light fixture had some metal that needed to be shaved in order to get the desired look. They setup the lights in perfect symmetry using a state of the art laser. I am very satisfied with Emilio and EJC Electricity service and I would recommend them to anyone for their installation needs.

Had an issue with a short in well pump and filtration system. Came out the same day, after hours and made a temporary repair. Returned after the weekend and completed the repair in a very professional manner. Very satisfied with both the quality of work and the fee charged.

Emilio was very responsive with my questions and estimate before showing up at my house. He did a great job and wanted to make sure I was happy with his installation of 5 ceiling fans with lights, 2 pendant lights and 1 dining room chandelier... I was! Emilio and his helper were very courteous, responsive in communications and worked efficiently. I highly recommend EJC Electricity and will have them do other electrical projects at my house like adding an EV charger in the garage.

This company responded to my inquiry on Yelp for an electrician to install a whole house standby generator and transfer switch. If zero stars were an option, I still would have given this company negative 5 stars! They chose a 4:00pm appointment time themselves 4 days in advance. I responded that the appointment time would work for me but that I had a tight schedule on the day they chose, so I would allow a 15 minute window past the appointment time for them to arrive. Emilio from EJC acknowledged this and assured me that the appointment would be kept on time.
You see, I believe that this initial interaction is an indication of how the company operates and simply put, if they can't adhere to a previously acknowledged time of arrival, they are likely to NOT perform the required work in accordance with industry standards.
It may seem like a trivial thing, but actions speak volumes about how a company conducts themselves. At the very minimum, there should be clear communication between the company and the customer if there are any issues that arise that prevents them from arriving on time. I would have gladly rescheduled. I, along with most customers, am quite flexible provided I have communication from the contractor.
In this case, the communication with this company is practically nonexistent. The limited communication I did have was barely one sentence long and sometimes just a word or two.
Florida has been overrun by shady contractors simply looking to victimize people and make quick money by leaving a trail of unfinished or shoddy work in their wake. When it comes to extending second chances, why offer one to a company when they didn't even try to make any attempt to foster any effort at the first impression/chance?
This company clearly exemplifies all that is wrong with Florida contractors and should be avoided by every consumer unless they have endless time and money to waste on unscrupulous people and companies!

Emilio came out and hung two chandeliers in our home with 12'ceilings at a fair rate. He was great at communicating schedules and respectful of our home. He went above and beyond. We highly recommend his work.

The job was done great and on time. They told me the job would cost $400, When the job was finish he charge me $480. I was not go to argue over 80 dollar just give him the money.Other wise I was very happy with the job.
