The faucet in our garage that connects to our washing machine suddenly broke and was spraying water all over. Of course this had to happen on the weekend. Even though Yelp said EJ Plumbing would be closed on the weekend I gave it a chance and left a phone message hoping they would be able to help. I was so happy when they called me right back to schedule an appointment for the very next day. Jairo came to our house and assessed the problem and fixed it right up. The replacement parts he installed were even nicer than what had been there when we bought the house. Thank you EJ Plumbing for coming to the rescue.

This is the first Yelp review I've ever written -- good or bad -- and it's because I'm very disappointed with E-J Plumbing's response to my problem with their workmanship.

A while back, they installed a new Delta kitchen faucet for me; it's loose, which can go unnoticed. Their response when I called this week to ask them to spend five minutes to correct the problem ? That will be a $150 minimum visit charge since it's beyond 30-day warranty.

I may be at fault for not noticing the problem sooner, but warranties often run from when the issue is noticed; I expected them to be helpful and waive their fine print to correct it. I may also be wrong, but I don't consider poor workmanship a warranty issue, and certainly not what one expects from a locally-owned family-operated business.

We woke this morning (Friday before a long weekend) to find out water heater broken OH NO! When will we be able to take shower? How much will it cost because it will be a holiday weekend tomorrow. I called EJ Plumbing at about 7am and spoke to a live human :-} who took all our info, checked a few things and said someone will call you to schedule. A little while later I got a call and they said ""the earliest appoint I can give is 11am to 1pm today"" ... WOW!!! I'LL TAKE IT!!!. I got a text message at 11:35 saying that Sam was on his way (text included a picture of him and a little info about him) ... a few minutes later there was a knock on the door.
Sam looked at the unit and determined the problem. Due to the age of the unit and the manufacturer, with parts no longer readily available repair would be expensive and take days to acquire the parts (the same info that the office gave me). Sam gave me a few options to replace the unit (he did the OPPOSITE of up-sale!). He left at 1PM and I have a brand new water heater! Sam was EXTREMELY Professional AND EXTREMELY personable. I'd give Sam an A+ ... actually EVERYTHING about EJ Plumbing was A+

Used EJ to replace a water heater that was leaking. The guy we talked to for tankless water heater was great, but it cannot be used for our situation.

We had to go with a traditional water heater, and the technicians he sent were absolute clowns. Two college age guys came over, first one could not open the old water valve so the second one took some tool to it, and obviously after the heater was replaced the old valve starts to leak. And they proceeded to charge us $250 to replace it with a ball valve which would normally cost $20 from HD, and because the job took so long and it went into the evening they charged overtime to replace the valve. We felt bullied into paying them just so the job will be done.

After the replacement, the wall boards were soaked from the job. We pointed it out expecting them to use a towel or fan to dry it up. The 2 clowns proceeded to use their BLOW TORCH and blew the flame at the wooden wall boards! We had to yell at them to STOP immediately.

Giving 2 stars because the water heater itself works and the scheduling was accommodating. The technicians are horrible and I would not use them again.

Dont use these guys. They will come out and tell you to call Guy Plumbing to solve your issue since they dont carry the relevant parts. So now I have to pay EJ Plumbing to come out and tell me to use Guy Plumbing since they don't carry high end parts - only standard parts. That was an expensive diagnosis.

I hired EJ to replace a toilet, and just recently had them come out to replace the garbage disposal. They showed up on time and their work was great.
I would Highly recommend Ej to any one.

We recently got our tankless water heater serviced by EJ Plumbing and had a bad experience. The plumber who arrived threw away the reusable filter of our tankless heater without informing us that this wasn't part of the service charge. He left our water heater without a filter, saying that he will follow up with us. But after a full week no one from EJ Plumbing contacted us about the filter. When I called them back, I was informed I would have to pay an additional $200 + the fee for them to drive back and replace the filter!! This was on top of the servicing fee. I also had a brief conversation with their plumber on the phone to ask him why he threw away the filter without putting in a new one and I was treated like an idiot who doesn't understand English. Really terrible...

I called EJ Plumbing this morning because my lawn was flooding. They arrived within 2 hours of me calling and were able to figure out the problem in 5 minutes. I used them 10 years ago to install our tankless water heater and was also super impressed with their service. They will always be my go to Plumber!
