We have used Eilhardt Electric three times: installation of ceiling fans, replacement and installation of new can lighting in ceiling, and installation of a generator transfer panel. In each case Eilhardt Electric quickly responded to my request to schedule an estimate. Joe is great at asking the right questions to make sure the job accomplishes what is desired and to make sure his estimate is accurate. For all three jobs, the work was done efficiently and with great quality. For each job we were charged exactly the amount given in the estimate. Joe is very personable and professional, completing each job in a timely manner.

We've used this company 3 times to address some ongoing problems and to make upgrades and this is THE company to choose. Yes, their work and efficiency is tops but so is their integrity. As Joe was adding outside lighting he saw something unrelated that was not right and brought it to our attention. Future issues were thus avoided. Inside, I appreciated the experience and insights he shared. His idea was far better than mine. The review says, ""woohoo, as good as it gets"" and that is the truth!

I cannot say enough good things about this company and Joe. I have had them out to my house twice to install new recessed lighting, run additional electrical to the kitchen for dedicated outlets and to install special switches for my home automation set up. Joe is extremely nice, patient and willing to put up with a bunch of cats while he's working ( A big plus in this household) his pricing is very reasonable, his work he is very professional and I am extremely pleased overall with him as an electrician. I will be doing more home modifications and he will be the person I use. I have also recommended him to several of my friends

This guy deserves to get a great review on here. I had him and one other electrician come out to give me free estimates to install 3 pendant lights and 3 recessed canned (gimble) lights above the couch. Actually, Joe is the one that came out and did a thorough estimate, emailing me a detailed copy soon after. The other guy, from Folsom Lake Electric, took the info over the phone and sent me an estimate. Both estimates were pretty close to each other, but because Folsom Lake Electric had lots of good reviews on Yelp, and Eilhardt didn't have any yet, I decided to go with FLE. It was actually about 5 mos after I got the estimates that I finally decided to get the job done. I emailed Mike at FLE, telling him I was ready to go, but didn't hear back. Had to email several times. Finally, I heard back but they then said he'd have to come out to do the estimate before first, even though I emailed his original estimate to him. Turns out his original estimate didn't include actually installing the pendant lights, just wiring for them. Huh? Why wouldn't you naturally include that in the estimate?? So, his price jumped up $100.
Time to go with Joe at Eilhardt instead! Joe came on time, had everything he needed, got all 6 lights wired for and installed - beautifully - in a timely fashion, all on dimmers, and charged EXACTLY what he said he'd charge on the estimate! No surprises! He checked with me on every decision and option as he went along. We had talked before about the gimble lights and he said they were halogen. I didn't want halogen because of the heat they generate, so he said he could get me LED for x amount more money, as those bulbs are more expensive. He was totally accurate on that too. He was friendly, focused, and did a beautiful job, and I LOVE my new lights. He did leave a small area for the access hole that will need a little spackle and touch up paint, but he told me about it up front, and it's something that any electrician would have had to do. FLC had mentioned a repair would be needed too.
I highly recommend Joe Eilhardt and will gladly go back to him in a heartbeat for any other electrical needs. There were other good points I could include here, but the review is getting too long. It's nice to have someone I can trust!
