I asked for adding a consumption meter to my electric panel to see the current consumption real time. He said it is not going to be showing circuit by circuit but it will show realt time consumption. Got a quote for about $850. Then when he completed he sent a $956 for bill. When I asked, he said inital one was only estimate. I didnt say anything and paid. Then saw that it is not actually metering the consumption. I have texted him and he said it will be updating twice a day... i can already see that consumption on SDGE, and wouldnt pay about $1000 just to see that twice in a day. Its useless for me. That definitely doesnt work for me. When I mentioned this to him he said he told me at the beginning. Such a bad experience.

Gerry is your go-to electrician. Not even sure I can count on two hands the number of projects we have hired him to complete. From replacing our main electrical panel to installing our solar system, he was always courteous, professional and most importantly, thorough. The only strike against him is that he favors Starbucks coffee, so don't trust him with your coffee beans.

Gerry is amazing! I used him when I finished my garage and I will be using him for any future projects I have. During the quote, he took the time to really look at my old setup and determine exactly what could be done and how to do it safely. He installed and wired a new sub-panel, re-ran all my wiring, installed my requested upgrades, made modifications and upgrades on the fly as we went, installed my new overhead LED lighting (with dimmers), and came back over several additional times to address unforeseen issues that arose during the install. In addition to doing great work at a very reasonable rate, he was always very professional and friendly, responsive to my communications, and on time. I would HIGHLY recommend E&G for all your electrical need!

We had Gerry disconnect power from an outbuilding we had removed, install a couple outdoor gfi outlets, correct come poor (dangerous) connections in our attic, and inspect a few of our outlets around the house. He completed the job sooner than originally quoted, even though he charges hourly! He is honest and very knowledgeable about his trade and we will use him again for future electrical needs.
