I had James install the electrical for our hot tub.

In terms of the on-site work, James and his team did a great job and were collaborative in terms of discussing what would look best, etc. I never felt pressured to do any more work, although he did call out some work a previous contractor had done that wasn't to code (appreciated!).

James was also able to provide an accurate estimate for when and how much the work would cost. There were no bad surprises (in fact, we called an audible during the install and he added a couple bells and whistles to our installation).

The only reason I would hesitate to give 5 stars was just around communication. He could use a little more organization on the communications side as there were a few mix-ups in terms of who he called it (just add names/addresses/phone numbers/project details into your contact book as soon as people reach out, it'll do wonders!). Aside from this, I definitely plan on giving Edens Electric my business in the future.

James is THE best!! This past summer I suddenly needed to move my bakery in just a matter of weeks. It was high season and I was frantically searching for an affordable, reliable and quickly available electrician to relocate all of my commercial kitchen equipment to a new space not set up for a bakery. After countless call to larger companies virtually everyone had a 1-2 month wait time. I found James's number on Facebook recommendation and gave him a call. He met me the very next day, was prompt, confident and came in with an estimate way less than I was expecting. I hired James's and he did not disappoint. By far the best contractor I worked with during my move. James is a great troubleshooter, an efficient worker, on time and an all around nice person. Couldn't be happier! James will be my first call for any upcoming commercial or residential electric needs as long as he's in Tahoe. He even pops in every so often to see how everything is working out which is wonderful.
