This review is for work done in January 2016, but finally getting around to writing reviews.

Ash and his coworker came over to do multiple projects that spanned the entire day. We had an initial conversation over the phone and he gave some rough estimates and they knocked out what could be done in one day.

This included: installing a new electrical dryer hookup from the circuit box, installing a new bathroom vent, upgrading the bathroom from knob & tube, and adding an outdoors electrical box. He stayed within his estimated prices and did a very thorough job.

I look forward to working with him and his coworker on upgrading the rest of the K&T outlets that we have in the house.

I contacted Ash to inquire whether he could install a chandelier. He turned down the job because ""he's fully booked for 2-3 months.""

I find it hard to believe someone with such a positive rating on Yelp can only accept jobs 2-3 months in advance, especially when the majority of his reviews come from Yelpers with emergency situations.

Do not contact Ash unless you can wait 2-3 months to get assistance.

We blew a fuse on our fuse box and Edam helped us test all the fuses and replace them safely as I didn't want to electrocute myself. Edam gave me some excellent tips on what to do to prevent frying your fuses. I especially liked how Edam called back within minutes and offered to come that same day since I was in the area. I thought this was very considerate of him and upon arrival, he was polite, friendly and professional in appearance and demeanour. I will consider him again for the many home projects that we have in the future.

My broken outlet and light were fixed within the hour. Reasonably price and convenient. He was on time. He had all the equipment. We had thought that he might have to drive to the hardware store down the street, but he had the equipment in his car. They do not accept credit cards *thumbs down* so I wrote him a check, which I hate doing.

These guys are the BEST. I had no power in half my condo for two days. I called them. They were here within an hour. And in no time I have all my power back. And I can't thank them enough!!! They are professional and very nice and understanding.

Found Ash on yelp and so glad I did. All these good reviews were absolutely correct. You can't go wrong with Ash. He is honest, nice, excellent electrician. I have used yelp to find a good fit for me. I haven't been disappointed yet. He rewired my entire old apt. Big job and he did it with no problems. Thanks Ash~

We had a whole-house restoration 2 years ago and Ash from Edam's Electric did *ALL* the electrical work in my entire house. Anything electrical in my house was done by Ash and team and they are done well. I also had Ash and his team help with running network, speakers, and coaxial cables throughout the house. I was referred to look into Edam's Electric and am so glad I listened to my friend! Ash was able to personally come give us our free estimate and we started work a few days later. We had recessed lighting installed in every room of our house in just a day and a half, got a great price, and Ash's team was efficient, proficient, and clean. Very great guys, and I would recommend Edam's Electric all day long! (We're going to try to install our own light fixture and Ash even offered to walk us through it via FaceTime when we do it in case we have any problems.) So professional!!

We have had issues with our house for a while and had other electricians come in and say they needed to rewire the whole house. We recently had some circuits in our house go off and on sporadically so I knew it was time for an electrician. I went online to get a well reviewed electrician and came across Edam's Electric. I called and Ash responded with an appointment for the next day. He was very professional, prompt and thorough with his assessments.
To cut a long story short, he found out the real culprit for this ongoing problem. It was the main electrical box and wiring that was corroded and needed replacement. Since, it was a big job I assured him that it would be okay for him to finish it in a couple of days. So, he gave his quote and left to return the following day. However, he called me back within an hour and said that he was willing to start the project that very same day and planned to finish it. How cool was that! Within a couple of hours he had pulled the SSF electrical permit, made arrangements with his worker that was finishing up nearby and was already working on the mainline replacement project. They worked into the evening and had everything up and running within a few hours that same day! He scheduled the inspection with the SSF Safety Inspector the very next day and got everything squared away for us. I didn't even have to deal with pulling a permit, scheduling the inspection or anything related to materials because Ash and his team took care of everything.

Ash is a professional through and through. He has great customer service that people look for and appreciate. He is courteous, reliable, fair, accommodating, respectful and most importantly, provides excellent quality work.

A week later we had a couple of glitches on another circuit in our house so I called him to swing by since the issue resolved in a few minutes and was not affecting us in anyway. He did respond but now the issue has completely gone away. Regardless, if any new or old issue with electrical origins ever comes up in our house, Edam's Electric will be the only phone call I will make. Edam's Electric will be my only recommendation for electrical work!
