Like others it was my first time needing a electrician so, with no leads to follow I went online and started reading reviews when I found Emanuel. After reading the reviews regarding his service and work I made my decision to give him a try. We are happy to say that we made a good decision with Emanuel!! Called Emanuel to get a quote on recessed lighting. The way in which he talked with me for the first time was enough for me to realize that this was the guy I'll be going with. Extremely courteous and provided an extremely detailed explanation of what's in store for recessed lighting and possible ideas that he had in mind on how he would accomplish the job.
We got recessed lighting done from him in two rooms. In one of the rooms which was on a lower floor, he had to cut a few holes in the sheet rock to get the wiring in but he had already given me a heads up regarding this and also mentioned that I will have to get another person to get the holes patched and textured as he only did electrical work. Fair enough.
The recessed lighting work was excellent, very professional installation and he was nice enough to explain every step of the process.
He was punctual enough to arrive on time and finish the job in the time he has estimated.
The completed job is as good as it can get.
Will definitely recommend Emanuel for any electrical work.

Emanuel is truly as fantastic as all the previous reviews state. So friendly, patient, and helpful.

He drove out same day to quote for a new 220V outlet, then came back and did exactly what he promised, exactly when he promised. He even replaced an outlet on the outside of my house that was hanging loose just as a favor. He cleaned up perfectly and actually left the kitchen in a cleaner state than when he arrived! Highly recommended, and I won't hesitate to call him for the next electrical problem that arises.

Emmanuel from ECP Electric is the BEST!!! We called him on a Friday and he came out Saturday morning, spent 2 hours fixing some circuit problems, was friendly, and very reasonable. And everything now works perfect! We highly recommend him!

I felt wary of hiring an electrician because of poor past experiences with other service people. It's easy to feel vulnerable when you need to hire someone in a field that you know nothing about.
The Yelp reviews led me to Emanuel and he changed that feeling completely. He is the perfect professional, friendly, down to earth, explained the problem issue in a way I understood, charged the price that he had 'guesstimated', and was a delightful guy. He was immediately able to identify the reason that a breaker kept tripping, repaired it, and suggested other simple upgrades to my 37-year-old home that would make it safer and bring it into compliance with current codes. You cannot go wrong with this guy. I would strongly recommend him to my family/friends and to anyone with electrical problems.

It's really hard to earn a 5 start review from me. Here's why Emanuel deserves it.

Emanuel listens and has good ideas:
He listened to what we needed, rewired the old half of our house, cleaned up a functioning but messy/jenky city approved rewire to a 200 Amp panel.

Emanuel is very neat:
Many times, contractors know their stuff, but are messy and don't pay attention to the details that leave most of us with a smile on our face. All the wires were neatly routed under the house, drop cloths were used, and there was no unnecessary drywall patching- yay.

Emanuel does what he promises:
Although we paid him fully upon completion there were a couple small details that he told us needed to be finished. Some people wouldn't bother to remember and care to come back to do this, but he did, and I can't be happier.

He also guaranteed a ceiling fan remote when similar remotes have failed in the past. Well, it failed (no fault of his) and he stuck to his word and came back to put in a permanent switch for us AND he had great attitude.

We needed an electrician and had called a couple of electrician who were very difficult to schedule so I called Emanuel in the morning and he called me back with in the hour and was able to come by that same morning to do the work (awesome)!

He replaced a 3 light bathroom vanity and was able to trouble shoot the placement of the new light I bought. He replaced a bedroom light, worked on a outdoor fan & worked on and went to the hardware store to get replacement bulbs for a bedroom fan/light. He also fixed a few loose recess lights in the dining room.

He did a great job, very friendly and kept me in the loop of what he had done on each of the jobs. I thought he went above and beyond to get these jobs done and his price was very reasonable. I will use ECP electric from now on!!
