In the past two years, EChiBon (Jim) installed my EV charging station (Wallbox Pulsar Plus) and replaced my old fire hazard of an electrical subpanel (Federal Pacific Electric Stab-lok) to a new one (Siemens). Not only was he priced competitively but he also did a fantastic and swift job. Jim communicates well and was kind enough to do minor troubleshooting for a set of non-working outlets me while at the last job.

After working with Jim a couple of times, I find him to be quite a trustworthy professional, and I would recommend EChiBon Electric for all your electrical work/needs!

We originally hired Jim to put in an EV charging port for our garage. His team arrived on time. They were very efficient. Cleaned up after they were done. Price is very reasonable. They quoted me the price from the pics i sent him. ( he gave me instructions over the phone what pics he needed. ). Referred him to my other friends who also told me good things about him.

Later he did an electric panel upgrade for my rental home. From getting permit to inspection , I didn't have to worry about anything. Communication was clear and arrived on time. Finished earlier than expected. ( I guess city inspector didn't arrive late ) Highly recommend Echibon

I don't often write reviews, but Jim totally deserve it. He came to my house for various projects (adding outlets in an old home, electrical panel upgrade, electrical water heater upgrade, etc.) and his work has always been stellar.

Once I narrowed down to the highest rated, licensed, experienced, and professional electricians, why did I choose Echibon?

COMMUNICATION: 10/10
Jim was the only electrician who didn't visit in-person when I asked for a quote. However, his communication over the phone and email was by far the fastest and clearest. Potential issues, questions, concerns - Jim answered them all and gave me peace of mind. There's something incredibly satisfying about someone who listens and solves your problems.

I almost didn't choose Echibon because: they aren't licensed to do roofing for the bathroom exhaust fan, and Jim didn't come in-person for the quote. But if you can solve those, then I highly recommend Echibon!

Jim patiently guided me through the permit process. Jim and I agreed to a schedule: he arrived on time, and completed on time. I appreciate how he immediately let me know about any problems, options, and additional costs.

Jim and Felix were responsive, considerate, efficient, and clean! They would close the window and door to be quieter and not bother the neighbors. They would bring plastic sheets and vacuum up.
Jim did make a few mistakes, but we're all human, and the most important thing is: he corrected them by the next day.

Our remodeling project was one of the most hectic experiences in my life, with unexpected issues or problems to solve every day. Jim and Felix were the best to work with in this situation!

Jim and his team helped me install the Tesla wall charger! He was very responsive during the whole process. Before the job, he listened to my concerns, he was very patient with me and provided different options with each of them with detailed pricing breakdown and pros vs cons. Jim and his team replaced our subpanel in our garage quickly and efficiently. Our old subpanel was from the 70s and the manufacturer didn't even exist anymore. He worked with our difficult wall stud locations and figured out a great solution.
