Tom has been great. I use Eaton at our business at Mona Lisa Italian Foods in Little Italy and at my personal residence. Excellent work and honest pricing. I would recommend Eaton Electric to anyone.

Eaton Electric was prompt and efficient, once we were finally able to get a hold of them. I don't know if we're high maintenance or what, but it seemed like we had to call at least three times in order to get a call back for scheduling (first for the estimate, then for the actual work.) We were on a tight deadline as the work needed to be done prior to move in, so that may have had something to do with it.

That being said, Tom and his team were always on time, which is something that doesn't seem to happen with other contractors in our experience, so that's a huge plus. The pricing was reasonable for the work (installing fans, tv mounts, etc.) and they were upfront about the fact they don't do the drywall replacement (if necessary.) They also provided information on a provider that would follow behind them to fix that all up, which we appreciated since we're still pretty green in regard to home maintenance. They also didn't do any additional work without first checking with us and notifying of any potential price differences from the quotes.

Overall, we'd use Tom and Eaton Electric again for our electrical repair/upgrade needs.

I was referred to Eaton Electric by a friend who spoke highly of them. Tom arrived on time as stated for the estimate. I was concerned about the location of the wall switch and Tom made a great recommendation to install a set of Lutron wall switches that allow wireless connectivity so that I can have the wall switches placed anywhere. I agreed and I am very happy with the end result. Tom and his associate showed up on the installation date on time and worked very efficiently to install two light fixtures and the corresponding wall switches. Everything looked perfect and his cost did not change from the estimate provided.

Quote you one price and charges something completely different even for very much a standard project. My wife and I had a horrible experience with Tom and Eaton Electric and what was supposed to be a quick 400 dollar job turned into being charged 650 and than we needed to find another contractor and paid him 500 to fix the mess Eaton Electric left behind. Also would have been nice if they communicated w my wife that took the day off work before ripping out large pieces of drywall. Left the job with huge holes in our kitchen. Very disturbing to see a company like this still in business.

Worse job I've seen done by any contractor. Left massive holes in the drywall to simply lower a couple of outlets 2 inches down. Initially charged us $250 more than what was quoted $95/hr is what they will tell you and then 2 guys will show up and what they don't tell you is its $95/hr each. Didn't come w the right equipment and didn't communicate w my wife about anything. They made her go a block up for a $2 eye hook to hang a light. When leaving she was shocked that they left it in the way they did. They did a good job hanging a light fixture - however we had to spend an additional $500 to fix the mess in the kitchen that left after charging us $650. We ended up settling for $400 after quite the phone battle. Tom and his crew are quirky to say the least and go about their business making big changes to the initial plan without communicating anything to the home owner. I'll be more than happy to share pics if you want to pass along your email. The way they handled this has me very upset and I hope this serves as a good warning to anyone thinking Eaton Electric.

We've used Tom for a few jobs across two homes, both condos, and one about 20 minutes out of downtown.

They're always on time. Tom himself shows up for the visit and makes sure his guys are all set before he moves on to the next thing. His guys are knowledgeable and can usually think outside the (electrical) box if they need to, but they also have no problem calling Tom if they need his judgment. (I don't care if they know everything. I care that they do it right.)

Out of all the vendors (electrical or otherwise), Eaton is the one that we *never* have to look back later and ask why they did something abnormal or screwed it up by cutting corners.

The fact that they're as affordable as the other guys we've seen problems with just adds to their credibility.

After considering several bids a year ago, we chose Eaton electric. Tom did a great job and a year later, the 2nd floor electric panel stopped working. We called Tom, and he was able to accommodate us immediately. He is very pleasant (unlike most electricians I've worked with). Once he solved the problem, he even went as far to fix the lock on the breaker box for us. I'm always calling Tom first for electrician needs from now on.

A brand new home and the electric is already shock. The company was supposed to hold high quality certifications that were required for my home build. I needed it done quickly while still needing it done as professionally as possible. I was told it would not be any problem to have it done by this deadline. When I turned my switch on for the first time sparks went crazy. New walls new paint ruined. Come to find out the electrician was not qualified and they did not even check they just took his word for it. Moving into my home had to be delayed.

We have now used Eaton Electric for two jobs in our home, and have been very pleased with their service and performance. Tom has come to our home promptly on both occasions and done really nice work - one project was to install new outlets in our garage and also to run some wiring up above the rafters so we could drywall. Another project was to install new junction boxes and exterior sconces. He is very nice, very professional, and will definitely be our go-to electrician for all upcoming projects. The pricing has also been very fair.

First used Tom about 4 years ago and had a problem: his parter wired my meter wrong...it ran backwards..long story short...SDG&E and a $300 bill later. I decided to move on....meter was fixed by Tom...mistakes can be made.
Flash to this week...I now need eletrical work done for an upcoming sale.
I call Tom..he returns my call...and tell him what I need.
Friday @2PM is agreed upon.
Meanwhile I get my inspection report..email him a copy..and tell Tom instead I'll need an estimate first.
I also call & leave a VM.

It's now SATURDAY: NO PHONE CALL..NO EMAIL...NOTHING..NADA..ZIP.

I guess he did not want to do an estimate first since there was no money involved eventhough I am a repeat customer.
Oh well.
Moving on...nothing to see here.
