We have now used Eaton Electric for two jobs in our home, and have been very pleased with their service and performance. Tom has come to our home promptly on both occasions and done really nice work - one project was to install new outlets in our garage and also to run some wiring up above the rafters so we could drywall. Another project was to install new junction boxes and exterior sconces. He is very nice, very professional, and will definitely be our go-to electrician for all upcoming projects. The pricing has also been very fair.

First used Tom about 4 years ago and had a problem: his parter wired my meter wrong...it ran backwards..long story short...SDG&E and a $300 bill later. I decided to move on....meter was fixed by Tom...mistakes can be made.
Flash to this week...I now need eletrical work done for an upcoming sale.
I call Tom..he returns my call...and tell him what I need.
Friday @2PM is agreed upon.
Meanwhile I get my inspection report..email him a copy..and tell Tom instead I'll need an estimate first.
I also call & leave a VM.

It's now SATURDAY: NO PHONE CALL..NO EMAIL...NOTHING..NADA..ZIP.

I guess he did not want to do an estimate first since there was no money involved eventhough I am a repeat customer.
Oh well.
Moving on...nothing to see here.

Knowledgeable and priced fairly. Eaton isn't out to make a quick buck. As an owner of several properties, I came to Tom with a complex problem resulting from a splice the previous owner did on the main line to a condo. This self declared handyman left the wire exposed and it was a definite safety hazard. Tom's team came in and installed a new junction box with a proper transition as well as taking care of a couple other small jobs within the same timeframe. They even took actions to improve the cosmetics around the work.

It's difficult to find skilled tradesmen that aren't out to take advantage of their customers. Tom and his team are the exception. I'll be calling Eaton Electric for my future needs!

Tom did an excellent job of selecting the right exterior lighting for our HOA project. He gave a fair bid and handled the project professionally and was upfront about cost. I would strongly recommend selecting him over the local competition.

Tom is simply amazing. I recently moved into my condo and had saved some money to install recessed lighting, but I didn't know where to begin in finding an electrician. I was given two recommendations and Tom was clearly the best choice. During our initial meeting, he took detailed notes and provided thoughtful suggestions. We were in a bind to finish our project. Multiple calls placed to highly rated electricians on yelp yielded very little results. Beck and Roberts both did not follow through with their promises to at least come by to check out the project. Then we called Tom. He not only listened diligently to our dilemma, but he informed us when he will be by the job site to review our dilemma and informed us when he will be available to be on site again to remedy the problem. He then proceeded to show up when he said he would and again, show up to work on the problem when he said he would. This type of character is extremely hard to find in any profession. Adam, who was also here with Tom, was bright, articulate, and really knows his stuff. This team was fantastic in every respect. I would highly recommend this duo for any job, big or small. They are up front, willing to tackle difficult jobs, and will do so with efficiency and most importantly, integrity

I purchased an older house and Tom Eaton was recommended by my realtor.

Tom and his team ended up trouble shooting/fixing bad outlets and light switches, installing a 220 outlet for a kiln, adding additional outlets outside of the house, grounding all of our outlets, installing wiring for our mounted TV and surround sound system, as well as motion sensor lights outside of the house.

Tom was punctual and easy to work with, his prices were fair, and in my opinion a very honest electrician

I would hire him again as well as recommend him to my friends/neighbors

Eaton electric did an upgrade on our electrical system and installed several new outlets, undercounter lighting, and new bath light/heat fixtures at our house. They also helped install a new sound system with ceiling speakers and outside controls, etc. Tom and his team did a great job and had some very helpful input on wiring our tv and sound system so that everything was out of the way. Would definitely hire again!
