Evan does fantastic work for a great price. We hired him off of Yelp and appreciated his prompt and thorough responses via email. He then came to Oakland and provided a free estimate, where we were impressed by his experience and expertise. Evan installed new outlets and new outdoor lights for a very old (100+ year old) house which has all kinds of surprises. He was able to troubleshoot and adapt and provided great communication throughout. He's also just a fun, cool guy to chat with. We loved his work and will be going to him for all of our future electric needs. We've had good experiences with other electricians but Evan is the perfect combination of talent, experience, cost and communication. His great personality is the cherry on top.

We needed to have our 1955 era home electrically upgraded and this has been necessary for quite some time. We contacted several different electricians and decided to hire Easy Jobs Electrical and Evan Carr. We very much enjoyed working with Mr Carr. He was very professional did an excellent job and finished on time and within the budget. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs their whole house electrically upgraded or for smaller electrical jobs.

Evan was timely with his first appointment. He sent a written estimate detailing everything. We scheduled a date to complete the outlet installs. Prior to the install I had to add another item to the scope (outlet for a sump pump). He adjusted the scope and sent another written estimate. We scheduled him to have 9 outlets installed. He completed the job on timeand on budget. Evan explained things well and didn't cut corners. He listened to my needs and executed the plan.

Evan is the BEST. I needed two lights replaced and he was there the next day and did it in nothing flat and at a great price. He told me he'd be there at noon and when his other job ran long he called me to say he was running late, but would be there in half hour and he was. I couldn't believe it! Great customer service. I have no idea how this guy has 5 stars. I should have gone with my gut after the intial meeting and chosen the other electrician I met who's prices were slightly higher. We needed a brand new EV charging station installed in our garage and when I showed him the charger, it seemed like he didn't know what to do. I decided to take his cheap quote and trust his 5 star reviews. Total mistake. He installed the charger, but then broke the indicator panel by opening it. There was a sticker on there that said the warranty is void if opened! My husband had to talk to the manufacturer get a replacement piece and ask them if they'd still honor the warranty. They're customer service was great and thank goodness they did. Evan didn't apologize or anything. I told him I was giving myself a customer service credit since the job was botched and he didn't offer anything for our inconvenience. He just stood there with a confused look. I work in customer service and this is not how I would treat a customer. If you need an EV charger installed, DO NOT go to this guy.

Evan did a great job installing an outdoor and indoor fan and adding additional outlets for our patio. The weather this year caused challenges in scheduling but Evan always communicated promptly and hung in there to get the job done. His vision for how to do the job was spot on and we couldn't be happier. In addition to all the above the price was competitive. Evan was able to install a new light fixture and outlet in our attic storage space on the same day that he came out to give us a quote! I'm used to electricians that try to schedule work 3-4 weeks out and the quick turnaround was a pleasant surprise.
