Ken gave me a quote for a number of electrical issues, with the biggest item being upgrading my old can lights to the new LED lights. He was very knowledgeable and pointed out two choices of actual lights as well as informing me that my current dimmer switches would not be appropriate for the new lights. I had a competitor give me a bid and those facts were completed absent. Ken shared thoughts about a couple of other options that I wanted done. He was timely, thorough, professional. I needed a 50amp circuit run for a jacuzzi and there was no space in my electric box. I received 4 other quotes, 2 of which indicated I needed a whole new box (over $5k). Brett's bid was comparative to the other 2, but I liked his approach the best and he guaranteed it would be done to code. He pointed out how the jacuzzi was not originally hooked up correctly (the jacuzzi was moved from a prior location - the wiring to the jacuzzi pump was not to code and was not waterproof). He redid what was incorrect and did a fantastic job, aesthetically pleasing (per my wife's standards). He was fast (1.5 days to complete), prompt, explained in advance how the job would be completed, was open to suggestions.... its great to know I have an honest electrician, local to Camarillo, that I can trust and can go to for any future project.

One last thing- because the work was completed during the Covid-19 pandemic, Brett showed up for the estimate and work wearing a face mask and gloves the entire time. Only 1 of the other electricians I got estimates from wore a mask and gloves during the assessment. That was very much appreciated by my wife and I. Just goes to show true professionalism and care for protecting my family (and himself) during the work. Thank you Brett for a great job!

Eastman should be your first call for electrician services because it's the only one you'll have to make.

I had an emergency in the middle of the night with a repetitive pinging every minute that I couldn't locate the source of. I spent an hour and a half of going through phone trees trying to reach other electricians unsuccessfully. The few I did reach offered a range of potential problems that they could only fix with visit (which of course they couldn't do until the morning).

Then I called Eastman and got a response within two rings. Brett calmly talked me through the diagnosis of the problem and once we found the issue, walked me through the solution. Within 10 minutes he helped me easily resolve the problem and shared steps I could take to prevent it from reoccurring in the future.

Brett cared more about helping me than trying to squeeze out an after-hours emergency service call to make a buck. People with that kind of integrity deserve your business and Eastman Electric has definitely earned mine.

If I could give more than five stars I would!

I called Brett in a near-panic after hours on a Friday evening, very close to Christmas to potentially compound our household electrical issue.

Not only did he calmly listen to my issues and concerns, but he mentioned that he could be expected within 30 minutes; he arrived in 28 minutes.

Not only did Brett take his time to garner the scope of the issues (about 10 20-amp outlets and four 15-amp lighting circuits), but I never felt like I was wasting his time.

Ultimately he quickly diagnosed the issue from our recently-installed solar sub-breaker panels and voila!, the problem was immediately fixed. $95 very well spent, especially after hours.

I can not recommend Eastman Electric enough; being a brand-spanking new customer, calling Brett on a Friday evening (after hours, of course) and having him promptly arrive and treat me as a lifelong customer... Brett has only earned my strongest possible recommendation!

The plug in the bathroom wall popped and sparked. The wall behind it was HOT to touch. I called and left voicemail. He called back right away and then came out that afternoon. Fixed the old faulty wiring. Installed a new water safe plug. Pleasant, helpful, very knowledgeable. Will call him again if I have any more electrical problems. Reasonable price.

Do not use Bret from Eastman Electric. I needed a vanity light installed because my husband could not get the bracket lined up. Bret came and I explained the issue to him. He said he could take care of it for $100. He installed the light and after I paid him I noticed that it was not aligned properly and not flush on the wall. He told me that I could paint over the blue wall box. This is so unprofessional. I left a message telling him my husband was very unhappy with his work. He cashed the check and never responded back to us.

I called Brett in regards to not having any electricity for my hallway and bedroom. He came over and quickly discovered the problem which was in the electrical box. He was direct and efficient. He also educated me on what to look which most vendors keep the knowledge to themselves. Talked about being preventative and did a little more work then what was required to ensure the safety of my home.

I highly recommend his services. He is easy to get a hold of and will return your call promptly if he isn't available. Wait to hear from him before you go somewhere else.
