East County Electric
Company Overview
Over the years, our offerings have encompassed a wide range of Residential services, various Commercial projects, Industrial work, and numerous Farms and Ranches. Recently, we have concentrated on installing Generator backup systems. We serve both Farm and Home needs. We specialize in panel upgrades. No matter how challenging the situation, we can handle it. If there’s no existing service, we can facilitate new connections with the local utility.
Our team updates outdated wiring in older houses and businesses. Our expertise covers a range of technical aspects, from electric vehicle chargers to home automation systems. Troubleshooting problems is one of our strengths. We identify shorted lines, determine why systems fail, and source specialty parts for replacements.
Our services include LED lighting for kitchens, security, and parking areas. Kitchen remodels are among my favorite projects. We are proud of the detail and quality in every project we undertake. We often receive callbacks from clients for more projects.
In 1990, I started a five-year apprenticeship with Local 11 in Los Angeles County, specializing in Commercial/Industrial Inside Wireman. By 1995, I became a certified Journeyman. I spent twelve years working on major projects such as Lockheed, Santa Clara County Hewlett-Packard, and underground high voltage installations for universities and hospitals. I also worked on the Universal Studios ET ride, remodels at the Beverly Hills Hotel, oil refineries, Vons supermarkets, and Glendale Memorial Hospital, among many others.
In 2003, I established my own business and obtained my California C-10 Electrical Contractor license. By 2005, I was involved in developing the latest technology car washes in Southern California. I consider the California Speed Wash in Simi Valley my top achievement. My experience includes wiring a variety of structures, from homes and barns to stores, offices, and cement plants. I have accumulated 30 years of experience, completing hundreds of jobs in both residential and commercial sectors. I have consistently been in good standing with the Contractors Board. I have maintained relationships with clients for more than 15 years.
I was born in Simi Valley, CA, in August 1965, when it was quite warm. I grew up in Moorpark, making me a fifth-generation resident of Ventura County. At 17, after high school, I served three years as an Army Helicopter Mechanic. At 20, I attended Moorpark College.
Prior to 24, I worked in several roles, such as Grocery Clerk, Auto Detailer, Autobody Technician, and Construction Laborer. I enjoy reading, participating in sports, and tackling home projects involving wood. I have a range of favorite shows, including American Pickers, Gas Monkey Garage, Swamp People, DIY shows, and the Food Network. I hold my family and friends close to my heart. I live life one day at a time.
