These folks are as good as it gets. They're busy, yet find the time to analyze the problem(s); review it; and explain in an easily digestible manner. The last guys apparently were incomplete, causing arcing and melting of breakers. Tim and Roger tackled the problem without so much as disparaging the last E engineer. Great, reliable folks.

Roger is very conscientious about his service levels for not only himself, but all those that he employs. He is very fair, and even suggested more reasonable options than what I originally had asked for. His technician, Rafael (and his assistant) were courteous and mindful of my home and dog. East Bay Electric has THE BEST customer service! First, the owner, Roger, reviews your situation and calls when you first schedule the appt. Then, you get emails/text messages when the technicians leave the office the day of your appt that tells you exactly who is coming and allows you to watch them as they drive to your house (just like you can watch your Uber arrive). Then, Roger calls after the appt to make sure all is as it should be.

Our electrical issue turned out to be a simple one (although we weren't sure of that when we initially placed the call), and Rafael and AJ were great about doing the work and explaining why it wasn't more complicated, something I very much appreciated.

Overall, I can't say enough good things about East Bay Electric and definitely won't hesitate to call them again with any other electrical work we might need in the future. The incredible customer service was so nice to receive and so rare to find these days with other contractors, so kudos to you, Roger, for taking the time to go the extra mile for your customers!

WOW!!!! Not surprised that East Bay Electric has a perfect rating. Roger and his team (Rafael, Jennifer and Jamie) have provided the best customer service hands down! Staff kept me up to date on progress and even when I did call in for updates (my anxiety was getting the best of me) they were always very pleasant, patient and happy to help. WOW! What can I say, I surprised my wife with a new washer/dryer only to find out that I had the wrong 220 outlet in my house. Roger worked diligently to get me in the calendar ASAP. The technician that came out was extremely kind and walked me through the logic of every step he was taking. He was even kind enough to explain everything again as my wife arrived half way through the job. The technician worked fast to help me keep the cost down. I could not be more pleased with East Bay Electric. They turned a stressful situation into a positive situation... what more could you ask for!

Exceptional Work! Roger's detailed evaluation of the job and the challenges of routing the wiring for our EV Charger in the 1920's house led us to select East Bay over a slightly cheaper competitor. His evaluation indicated he might be able to route the wires inside and avoid exterior conduit (ugly & expensive) but until they actually started the work he could not be certain so he bid the conduit as the competitors did. (The competitors saw no chance of doing it any other way.)

East Bay's persistence and expertise resulted in the better and cheaper install with a lower final bill than the estimate. The work was highly professional and the communications during the whole process from job evaluation to final inspection were exceptional. As 5 stars says, ""As Good As It Gets"". You can't ask for more. No promises that could not be kept. Honest assessment of the work and the challenges. Work performed as scheduled!

I highly recommend East Bay Electric.

Holy moly. Called them to get an EV charger installed which entails running a 40 amp line from an aging main panel across a 1940s house to a disconnected garage. Not an easy job. They showed up at my house 12 hours later and the thing was installed perfectly after a few hours. Pricing was competitive and cleanup was flawless. The manager came out before they started the work with a quote and called to follow up. Best contractor ever.

On 12/23 we kept losing all power to the house due to a breaker problem. Electricians I have used previously were on vacation and I was getting nervous. Roger called me back wishing minutes of my 8:30pm call to him. He was out early on Christmas Eve to complete the repair. He explained the issues and my options. Roger even called back twice to ensure everything was working.

When his team came out on return trip to finish make an needed upgrade, Jennifer called to schedule and kept me updated. They were actually even early and quickly finished the job. East Bay Electric provided very timely and professional service with outstanding customer service.
