EarthStar Electric
Company Overview
Feel confident about the source of your energy.
This is the motivation behind our solar electric installations. We truly enjoy it. It simply makes sense in today's world.
Clean, quiet, and straightforward solar electricity.
We are a full-service electrical contractor at EarthStar Electric. We specialize in all kinds of wiring for both homes and businesses. Our expertise shines in lighting. Solar electricity excites us. Our journey with solar electric systems started in 2003, and it has evolved into our core mission. We work alongside solar thermal professionals to deliver hot water options.
From adding an outlet in your home office to evaluating a solar electric system for your factory, EarthStar Electric is ready to help. With a foundation in engineering and gadget invention, Daniels crafts creative solutions for complicated production processes.
His entrepreneurial spirit motivated him to establish his own company, initially focusing on minor wiring projects for homeowners. As his reputation flourished and the need for his creative lighting designs, home remodels, and commercial projects rose, he built a team of trained experts.
His natural curiosity for new technologies led him to focus on solar power installations. The chance to generate clean, quiet, and renewable energy was an evident choice.
With his engineering background, Daniels brings a unique perspective to projects, combining creativity, aesthetics, and economic considerations, which is not typical in the industry. His career began with the design and construction of commercial manufacturing equipment aimed at automating complex tasks.
He later founded his own electrical business in the East Bay and has been dedicated to serving the Sonoma community for the last five years.

Daniel was GREAT to work with. He installed a battery back up system in my home. There were some design issues with the Tesla team but he worked them out. He stayed on the job an extra FOUR hours to get the contracted job done in one day. He is a true professional and does a great job communicating the job. Thanks for a great experience!
Todd A.Daniel was awesome. Really nice person and extremely knowledgeable. He also does not waste time. He troubleshot and fixed numerous electrical issues at my residence very quickly and efficiently. I found him very personable and pleasant to be around as well. I would not hesitate to call him for any electrical work that needs doing. He also taught me some simple electrical troubleshooting/repair skills while he was here. 5 solid stars!
Kimberly K.Preface: This rating schema needs ten stars. ;^)
I contracted Daniel to assist me in ensuring a very dated, derelict, freewheeling small wind turbine in Berkeley, CA was safe to perform work. Daniel is a champ!! Understatement. If there were 10 stars in this rating schema, Daniel would own this!
Daniel is INCREDIBLY accommodating, and REALLY enjoys his work. He was not only gracious, malleable and competent, but quite adept at thinking on his feet. This was MOST appreciated, because prior Lic C10s I had come through did not offer the same thoroughness, care and consideration. It was clear, in the past, once these historical electricians grasped the magnitude and complexity of what was involved with decommissioning this installation, they turned tail, 'attained escape velocity' and the homeowner did not see them again. Not Daniel.
Daniel even went under the house into the crawl space to try to trace all the connections, too. Additionally, he went above and beyond the call of duty and was able to extricate the wind turbine brake cable which, unknown others had made unsuccessful attempts in the past. Wow-squared!!
I can say with 100% confidence that the wires from the wind turbine are capped off, and the connection from the AC connection to the phaser/inverter is capped off. The installation is now safe to work on without being concerned about the flow of electrons from the wind turbine or from the PG&E electrical distribution network. This was a HUGE decommissioning milestone in this project!! Couldn't have done this without Daniel's help.
Word on the street is, he also does work for Grid Alternatives. Can't have a better recommendation than that!
