The easy fix didn't work. Earle sent his son who was able to make a house call and visit the same day I called. The problem was identified rapidly and quickly fixed at a reasonable price. (There was a frayed wire and short in the heat sensor of one of the recessed lighting cans in my bedroom.) Who even knew such a thing existed?

This business had earned the highest ratings in Alameda county for quality and price by the Bay Area Consumer Checkbook. Those ratings are well deserved. What a treat to have a local mom and pop business provide such great service!

Earle and his team are good people and solid electricians. I work as a construction manager in the commercial space and deal with a lot of contractors, I'd be thrilled if most of them were half as good as Earle and his team. They're definitely in high demand so it's not always the easiest to get them scheduled but they showed up quickly when needed and the prices were honest and fair. We had one minor issue in the work and they were back out the next day no questions asked making it right. I'll be going back to Earle for future work.

When I thanked him, all he said was ""well I guess I saved you some money."" This contrasts with another electrician I called who said he would take a look for a two hour minimum.
