Ed is a true professional. I had him do recessed lights and the job was complicated. He also installed my electric car charger. Ed recommended dimmers on remote control. It was only $40 more and works perfectly. I had no crawl space and double drywall. Ed was amazing. He was on time, clean and extremely talented. I made an appointment with Ed to come over to provide an estimate on adding lights to my front and backyard. Ed and his assistant Chris came out a day after we called to diagnose a problem where two bedrooms and a bathroom had no power. (Ed actually tried to help us by giving us some counsel over the phone, but that didn't work so he came out.). They worked quickly and efficienctly and found that the wiring behind one of the wall outlets had shorted out due to substandard connectors. Fixed quickly, deserving a healthy tip. Very friendly, knowledgeable. Will definitely use them again!

I am a homeowner electrician. All my work is done to code and I have it inspected by the city so I know a fair bit about domestic wiring, not everything, but I know how to read the code and I know when to ask for help.

Recently I had a branch circuit of fluorescent lights dim all at once. I installed an arc-fault breaker thinking that if I had a fault, it would show up with this breaker which also had diagnostic indicators to help me determine the type of fault.

Because of rather obscure instructions, I installed the breaker incorrectly. I guess it was Ed who answered the phone. He asked all the right questions and made me aware of my incorrect installation in seconds.

Not only is he knowledgeable, he is a gentleman and a scholar for giving me phone help. If I need an electrician in the future, I will go to Eagle Electric - no questions asked.
