Eager Electric
Company Overview
To Our Valued Home Warranty Customers: Sometimes, we may need to return for a second visit. As part of our agreement with your warranty company, we need to provide a diagnosis for authorization prior to completing any repairs. Once we obtain authorization, we will arrange a return visit. Make sure to read your contract in full and get in touch with your warranty company if anything is unclear. We are committed to providing the warranty company with an accurate and professional diagnosis. If your warranty denies the repairs, it is not due to our diagnosis. In the event we misdiagnose a problem or if a repair fails, the warranty will send us back to fix the issue at no charge to you. There are occasions when the warranty will deny repairs based on the circumstances surrounding the issue. If this happens, reach out to us to perform the repairs independently of the warranty. We apologize to those customers who have left us negative feedback based on misunderstandings regarding repair denials. Know that we do our utmost to address your electrical concerns and perform all required repairs when they fall under your warranty. Our team services numerous homes every day and strives to offer a schedule that fits your needs. If you are not home during our scheduled time, your warranty company will likely charge you for us to come back. Service calls can often be confusing. We encourage you to reach out with any inquiries before posting a negative review. Best regards, The Owner with years of expertise.

Excellent customer service for help navigating the hurdles of home warranty service. Stephen was courteous and professional. There were some complications due to the details of my warranty policy, but overall I ended up happy with the service.

Electrician came and said wiring had been disconnected (maybe accusing me?) and couldn't do the job per my home warranty.
Another company came today and said nothing was disconnected or missing and is fixing the issue.
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

Everything started off well. A representative from their company promptly contacted us to set up an appointment. They were very flexible and were willing to work with us as far as the day went. The day came and Steve arrived at our home a few minutes early. Within 5 minutes he was in and out and told my husband that the ballasts in our kitchen lights were going out. He said he would submit it to the warranty company and be in touch once it was approved. Figuring everything was delayed due to covid we didn't stress it too much when we hadn't been contacted after a week. Once we got to 2 weeks I decided to check our home warranty website and SURPRISE! The service was marked COMPLETED! Pretty sure my lights that have not been working for 3 weeks would disagree. I understand people get busy, but a simple phone call would have been nice. After contacting my warranty company and them not being able to contact anyone from Jaeger Electric a different company has been assigned to complete the job. We should not have to chase a company to get the job done. My husband said Steve was a nice guy, but unfortunately it looks like he fell a little short when it came to following through with the job.

Jeager electric was assigned to us by American Home Warranty. Stephen arrived a few minutes earlier than the estimated time on the on-his-way email and within the initially quoted time range. He arrived with a mask on and was professional throughout his entire visit. His knowledge and expertise were on display as he quickly eliminated the possibilities and ultimately identified the problem. Unfortunately, the issue was related to some outside electrical work we had done months ago. Fortunately, this work is under warranty. So although not covered by the home warranty policy, I have already scheduled our landscape company to fix the problem with the knowledge Stephen passed on to me.
I was so pleased with Stephen; I already made arrangements to have him come out early next year to help me with half a dozen electrical projects.

It started out that I was excited to get a prompt response for service, well let just say that's where it ended! If I could rate them a zero I would!!! The contractor made a time frame with me to show up to my home for service and through text it was confirmed I shared with him that I would be leaving work to make this appointment. He said approximate time would be noonish and then said 1115am and I said I could be there by 1130am. I left work because I work 30 min. from my house and I got there at 1120am and I receive a cancellation that he didn't get a response.... extremely unprofessional and didn't even call to confirm before cancelling!
I guess I should be so lucky not to have them do the work if that's how they handle their customers!!!

Got a charge for Jaeger service from Old Repub warranty company. The warranty would not cover the electrical problem b/c it was outside and not inside. Steve Jaeger did come out to diagnose the problem but was not allowed to fix it per the Old Republic contract. Subsequently I completely forgot Steve's visit but in a phonecon he refreshed my memory with all the details. He was right; I was wrong. Very pleasant young man, very respectful. We moved to Las Vegas. If Steve was here in Nevada he would be my ""go to"" guy for electrical problems. He left me with great confidence in his company, and great respect for his memory. I paid Old Republic $75.00 for the valid trade call (Steve) fee.

Steve came out per AHS, I had three items. One was check power to garage door opener, this was done. Second was to check GFI in garage, it would not reset. He said he would need to contact AHS to see next step, might have to cut through walls, he checked other GFI,s and none were tripped. He was to check GFI in courtyard, it keeps tripping, this he forgot to do and after I emailed him, there was no response. He left.
AHS called me and he told them I plugged a chest freezer into this outlet and the gfi contacts were brown and it's my fault, thus no coverage.
I hired another electrical company to come out and they fixed the GFI problem in 5 minutes, it was a loose wire in the outlet near the GFI. Steve never checked this, I observed he was in and out.
I still have the other problem with the GFI.

Contacted my home warranty because my whole house fan was not working properly. My home warranty referred me to Jaeger Electric. Stephen the technician came to my home on June 9. He spent less than 5 minutes looking at my whole house fan and told me I needed a new motor. Stephen told me that he would have to contact my home warranty company to get approval for the new motor and to contact him in 3 days for the status. I waited 5 days and called and left messages and did not receive a call back. I called again for several days and again did not receive a call back. On June 18 I called my home warranty company to advise them of my situation. My home warranty company advised me that my work order from Jaeger Electric was closed. The technician wrote on the work order that my whole house fan was working properly. I informed my home warranty company that was not true. On June 19 my home warranty sent me another electrician, City First Electric to my home. The technician from City First Electric diagnosed and resolved my problem. They replaced my capacitor and my whole house fan is working great. DO NOT HIRE JAEGAR ELECTRIC. THEY ARE DISHONEST AND HAVE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. CALL City First Electric.

BEWARE of this company they're really good at calling you ,texting you and emailing you to set up appointments. But when it comes time to do service they are nowhere to be found. After calling numerous times and getting an answering machine that says they'll get back to you by 3 PM the next day they don't! The guy Steve that came out didn't even look at what the problem was with my ceiling fan Which is covered through a home warranty program. No He was just looking at ways to make more money off of me. I do agree the ceiling fan box had to be replaced but he didn't even look to see the fan had only one speed which was why I called for service in the first place. After waiting over a week to get a call to see when he would come out to Replace the box And put in a new fan I'm still sitting here WAITING for A PHONE CALL BACK.But no more as the warranty company reassign me to a company that I like T and J Investments which I do recommend For electrical work.

Wow, They came out quickly and found the electrical problem and were able to fix it in the same visit. He was pleasant and neat, even moved the furniture back. I would definitely use them again.
