Eager Electric
Company Overview
Attention Home Warranty Clients: At times, your service request may necessitate a follow-up visit. As part of our agreement with your warranty company, we need to provide a diagnosis for authorization prior to completing any repairs. Once we obtain authorization, we will arrange a return visit. Please review your entire contract and reach out to your warranty company if you have any questions. Our obligation is to deliver a truthful and professional diagnosis to the warranty provider. Should your warranty refuse the repairs, it is not a reflection of our diagnosis. In the event we misdiagnose a problem or if a repair fails, the warranty will send us back to fix the issue at no charge to you. Sometimes, the warranty may deny repairs based on the nature of the issue. If this happens, reach out to us to perform the repairs independently of the warranty. We regret any negative reviews from customers stemming from misunderstandings about why repairs were denied. Rest assured, we strive to resolve your electrical issues and complete all necessary repairs covered by your warranty. We service multiple homes each day and aim to provide a schedule that meets your needs. If you are not present during our scheduled appointment, your warranty company may charge you for a return visit. These types of service calls can be difficult to navigate. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have questions before considering a negative review. Warm regards, The Manager with years of expertise.

Jaeger electric came to work on electrical issues through our home warranty. The technician that arrived was unprofessional and did not seem to have either knowledge or the tools to solve the problem. He left without fixing the issue and recommended to home warranty that the issue was not from normal wear and tear . I would definitely not have them back. A big ripoff for their 100 service charge.

I should have requested a different service company like another reviewer warned. Stay clear.
I had an issue with my gfi outlets that kept tripping. He came for maybe 5 minutes, reset an outlet, gave me sage advice, and was on his way. I was sincerely grateful and wondered why everyone is giving him such a hard time on Yelp?
The next day, it happens again. I reset and tested all the gfci like he instructed, so I knew it was something more and requested another visit.
The contractor reported that failure to your Switches was due to lack of capacity. Essentially, denying my claim to my warranty company
Please be advised that your contract contains the following provision(s):
Under the section marked Limits of Liability # 2, Repairs or replacements required as a result of missing parts, fire, flood, smoke, lightning, freeze, earthquake, theft, storms, accidents, mud, war, riots, vandalism, acts of God, damage from pests, lack of capacity, or misuse are not covered by this contract.
Now, what irks me is that how someone who didn't open up a single outlet pulls this clause out of his ass so he didn't have to actually diagnose the issue.
Called a real electrician to solve my problems, and for that, they deserve 5/5.

My home warranty sent them out. Had several outlets broken in home came out and did inspection of broken items. because I mentioned that I had had a problem plugging in a 110 15 amp portable air conditioner into one outlet. Which only tripped the breaker on one outlet. My whole claim was shutdown and repairs were not completed. Tried to call them will not return calls.

Very professional and great customer service! They came out and diagnosed the problem very quickly. Thank you

This company was sent out by my Home Warrant for an electrical issue. He stated to me that there was a wiring problem in the wall that need work beyond what the original authorization was from my home warranty and that ""he would get back to me.""
My home warranty indicated the that the problem was resolved and nothing was needed, so my home warranty wanted to charge me for the visit when Jaeger was here for 5 minutes.
The home warranty said ""you have a switch in your room with no overhead light so the switch isn't needed according to the Jaeger."" - I guess they have not heard of a switched outlet for table lamp or floor lamp.
The only conclusion I can make is that he didn't want to do the work and/or was not paid enough for what needed to be done and therefore lied to home warranty company. I would have preferred he just say that, then take my visit fee of $85. $85 for 5 minutes of work is good money I guess.

Mr. Jaeger was prompt, polite and got the job done.
He is a nice guy and a good electrician.
Thank you.

Fast, efficient, customer friendly! Highly recommend. Repaired a wire in one of my outlets that affected lights and outlets!

First of all don't use American home shield second don't use Jager electrical. The technician that they sent out was extremely rude and obnoxious. He told American home shield it was the GFI and they would have to cut into the wall, my husband was with him the whole time which he did make a comment that he didn't like people standing over him. My husband said he never checked the GFI. Of course home shield denied the claim. But if we want our electricity fixed Jager electrical would be more than willing to charge $800 to fix the issue. Oh and on top of everything the service technician was telling my husband that wealthy people usually tip him $100! Newsflash Jager electric not everybody that lives in a gated community has money it is a 55 community after all. I wouldn't even left a one star but you have to for it to go forward.

Right off bat the tech was in a bad mood and didn't want me to follow him around as he didn't test anything and told me that people tip him $100 don't use them they are a rip off

If your home warranty company refers any electrical work to this company, request a different electrician. These folks are the worst. I needed two chandeliers to be swapped out, but since the online request form didn't have an option for that, I chose ""other"". When electrician arrived, he was in an already bad mood. When the work needed was described, he immediately dismissed and refused to do the work because it wasn't a ""service/repair"" call but a ""retail/modification"", and that wasn't covered under the warranty contract we had, and he would have to price it differently. I understood that to be ""I'm going to squeeze you for more $$ because this call doesn't pay enough."" I called the warranty company to complain, but they said they couldn't help because the contract doesn't cover that type of work. Very disappointed in the warranty company and especially disappointed in Jaeger, as they could have handled this differently and done the work anyway with a much better attitude and approach. Thankfully there are other electricians who are eager to work and earn our business. One would think that, having referrals from warranty companies basically being delivered on a silver platter, a company would be more appreciative and responsive, especially in this tough economy where companies are struggling to stay afloat.
