Mindi W.Very frustrating that after 4 visits, $1200+...and several nights spent trying to sleep in the heat, our problem still isn't fixed. Most annoying is that I spent $200 on Friday and the air went out late evening on Saturday. When I called on Sunday, they said they wouldn't come out without first collecting $150 more for the ""after hours service call"". Seriously! They would not give me the owners phone number but said to try him Monday am - after another nigh spent in summer heat. The $150 weekend service call will no longer be an issue on Monday....but our problem won't be solved for tonight. I'll get this resolved, and then find another company.
Absolutely would not recommend. Prices were DOUBLE of any competitor.
Called their office first thing in the morning and put the order in. Called back hours later to check on the status, only to find out our call wasn't even put in the system.
Charged $115 to come out for 5 minutes and tell us what we already knew with no work being done. Couldn't get a call back with a quote on labor/parts price until the end of the day (even after calling asking if they had the quote yet). Thank goodness we had already found a competitor that was HALF their quoted price and already at our house replacing the part by the time they finally called back. Very disappointed and wish I could get my $115 back.
Keith D.Two days of appointment windows, two no call, no shows as far as I can tell. I call back and am told that the tech was there at the beginning of the window for 5 minutes and he called and left a message. He DID NOT call the number they were given to actually reach anyone. Meanwhile, my almost 80 year old mother has to stay elsewhere and I am out 6 hours of work waiting for a call that never came.
John N.I can understand stress during a tough time but not rudeness and poor respect for a customer's issue. My daughter had the company do diagnostics on a generator when she moved into her house a few weeks ago, and apparently all the person did was ""check the oil"". The generator was not checked to be in working condition and apparently what it needed was fuel. Just moving in, when she called she asked what needed to be done on her end to assure the diagnostics test could take place and was told there was nothing she needed to do.
Granted if there was not fuel (which it needed propane), a diagnostic test could not be properly run, but the technician spent 90 minutes at that address per the company's dispatch and apparently did nothing significant to run diagnostics.
When she called to ask about this she was met with an extremely rude reception that apparently she learned a lesson about generators. There is a point there, but she also learned something else. She learn how dishonest and disrespectful this company is. If this is how they do business, you should find another vendor to do AC work for you.
They should probably get negative stars, but that is not possible. So I guess 1 star should do. The person did show up.
completely overcharged my tenant for replacement of an electrical cord on my a/c unit. $300 charge. Completely ridiculous and overpriced
If I could rate less than 1 star I would. Don't waste your time trying to reach this company for an emergency A/C call. They may say 24/7 service, but their techs don't actually respond 24/7. After the 3rd call in 3 hours their call center/dispatch person told me to ""do right by family"" and call someone else. Just ridiculous!
Pamela Stokes C.DO NOT USE THIS COMANY! After 3 service calls, our a/c unit is still freezing up and not working. 2 different techs have ""topped off"" coolant without looking for a leak. Going on 6 days without a/c in the summer in central Florida. Kicking myself for not moving on quicker. 24 hour service is BS...tech never calls back or shows up.
This company had installed our old unit nineteen years ago, and we were completely satisfied, so accepted their bid without thought. Big mistake . . . After just finishing the nineteenth service call since our new unit was installed in the end of July, I called the owner. Apology for our difficulties and imposition? (The last issue could have burned the house down.) NOOOO! ""Who is paying for those service calls? I am!"" said Mark. I explained that if my new car broke down I wouldn't thank the dealer for continuing to tow it in, to which he replied ""I didn't MAKE the system. Your issue is with Carrier (manufacturer)"". Followed by ""Do you think you're the only customer with issues?"" Un-freaking believable. If you love incompetence with a side helping of arrogance, this is your company. Thank God this guy isn't an airline pilot, or the runways would be littered with dead bodies.
$254 FOR A 20 MINUTE SERVICE CALL
BAD EXPERIENCE WITH BOB HEINMILLER A/C IN ORLANDO
We've used them for 6 years, including installation of a new system. Their service has always been good, although sometimes seemed a little costly. This time we were charged $254 for a 20 minute service call, which they subsequently reduced to $193, saying it had been a mistake. $200 for 20 minutes still seems unreasonable to me, so after getting nowhere with them, I sent a very professional email to the President/owner. Instead of responding, he had the girl that answers the phone call me back and tell me that they would not make any further adjustment to the invoice.
They clearly made me feel that they do not appreciate our business, or our 6 year history with them.
Outstanding service! I have used this company for heating and cooling maintenence and replacement. I had an opportunity to use their electric service and received the same fast professional service. The gentleman was able to diagnose the source of my electrical problem guickly. In no time I had service restored. In addition he gave me some useful information about lights in my bathrooms concerning sensors I did not know I even had and bulb size that were very helpful. Great sevice at a fair price.
