This review isn't about Electrical work. I bought a truck from the guy and his Brother "" Alex"" if that is his real name. I was scammed and lied to. The truck was listed in craigslist as excellent condition. After trusting them I got the truck home and the first thing is, the check engine light goes on. I have to replace the oil pump, next thing, the back windows stopped working, then all of the sudden I smell fuel, only to find out that there is a leak in the gas tank, after inspecting the gas tank, I find a rusted it frame, with a recent payment ch weld on it. These people are scum of the Earth and not to be trusted.

I would have given him no stars, but it wasn't an option. It was a simple job. I needed a complete replacement of an existing main fuse panel on my house. I got a hack job that would NEVE . have passed code. The box was mounted to the exterior of my siding (needed to be mounted under) and he left a giant hole in my siding (wall needs to be closed to pass code). 90% of my beakers were mislabeled and I had to finish the job myself. He charged me $2k for a hack job.

When I spoke to Ed, it was like I was inconveniencing him and only came over to do a half hearted attempt to get it to pass code after I threatened to not pay him. I'll post pics of his crap work that showed zero prode in any craftsmanship.

I hired them for service to my garage. It took two months to get it done. Original bid was 5000.00 dollars I supply the lights he does everything else and supplies panel wire breaker,s 200amp service. I end up with a 100amp service and had to supply gfi,s because it failed first inspection no gfi,s also had to try to put gfi,s in got one in but couldn't get the other,s ended up paying 5300.00 for hooking up my lights also had to buy the gfi,s which was a 100.00 dollars I would not recommend them to anyone. So if you electrical service done don't go there.

Our contractor used these guys 14 years ago and we are still having problems. Will have to hire someone else to fix the problems we were left with!

Ed is the best. He has old parts for us people who can't seem to find that old part to save money. Love his efficient nature...

I had a terrible experience with Ed and Sons Electric, Inc. Located at 2946 Innsbruck Drive, Redding California. Ed didn't show up twice. I was without electric power for two days. I found Ed and his partner to be very nosy and sneaky. They would offer to sell and install fire alarms in every room of your house so they can check out what you have. I DO NOT recommend these guys to anyone. I regret that I called them to fix my electric issue.

I wouldn't recommend hiring for residential use. they leave the front door open all day and blast the radio for the whole neighborhood. unprofessional and irritating.

These guys were really great. I was pretty amazed when I saw how low their quote was, but I didn't have to pay anything up front, so I thought why not give them a shot. I think they probably had some other big projects at the time, so I was wondering if I'd have to get in the back of the line, but they got my job done sooner than I expected. Everything went great. I highly recommend their services to anyone with any size project.

Both on the phone and in person, the electrician seemed unprofessional and really just uninterested in the residential work I wanted done. Didn't send me a quote via email as requested, and only communicated via text message with misspelled words!
When I finally received the quote, it did seem relatively cheap. So if you are looking to save a buck or two, go with these guys, but be ready for some frustration as well!
