I've hired Eric twice since the first time. 1 - hooked up hot tub. 2 - New porch light with dimmer, door bell, utility light with dimmer, temperature controller for tank-less hot water heater and a couple of repairs. As before - fast, efficient, reasonable and great to work with. Why would I ever hire anyone else?

Ok, my last review E&S Electric was 15 months ago and everything still holds true. I used E&S Electric again for another project in the Bay Area. The pressure was definitely on... 11 days, yes 11 days before Christmas Day, my wife and I decided to remodel our master bathroom in time for 30 dinner guests for Christmas. Luckily we had an idea in mind, and Eric was a key contributor by getting all of the work done in 2 days... installation of can lights, new bathroom fan / light / heater, converting a single circuit that ran our master bedroom and bathroom, into 3 circuits with floor tile heating as well. I said in my last review that Eric is better than good, he is an Electrical Rockstar! He is fast, very focused on getting the task done, and his work is extremely clean. Thanks again for a 2nd fantastic performance.

One word: AWESOME! Eric came out to bid on some electrical upgrades I needed before moving into our new house. He basically took the time and schooled my on how upgrading needed outlets, rather than the entire house (tearing up sheet-rock, etc.) was all I needed for now. He gave a quote and day/time he can do the work. Completed everything as promised and stuck to the quote. Really easy! Thanks!

Great service on a short call notice. Needed some electrical work done in one my client's Pacifica home. I called E&S and Eric came out the same afternoon to solve the electrical plug problem. Eric is an extremely knowledgeable and honest electrician. I did not hire him for any work before since we are doing a major construction at our home and the construction company is taking care of the electrical issues. However, I talked to him over the phone a couple of times regarding replacing the electrical panel and the old wiring of the house. He gave me a lot of money-saving advice practically for free. When asked about replacing the old wiring, he told me replacing knob-and-tube would cost at least $100 per outlet/switch and would involve opening up walls. This was something my construction company had not told me. When I pressed them for more info, they confessed that it was not necessary confirming Eric's opinions. I would definitely hire him for any future electrical work.

We hired Eric to come do some last minute inspection work to close a home loan. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and efficient. We only had about 30 minutes to get the job done, but he made sure it was done right. We were so impressed with his work, we hired him again to do some more wiring work once we moved in. He did a great job and was a helpful resource for other contracting questions.

Our tenants told us the ceiling fan in the bathroom of our condo konked out, and considering that there wasn't a window in the room, it seemed prudent to fix it as soon as possible.

I go there with toolbox in hand and spend the afternoon pulling the old one out, buying a new one, installing it, cutting my finger, checking the current, plugging it in, and the damn thing didn't work. Since I was busy, I decided it was best to let someone else do it.

My tenant recommended E&S (she also works in real estate), and I gave him a call. He gave me a very reasonable flat rate, scheduled a time with the tenant, and fixed it. He was patient with the invoice (I did get it paid by net+20), and the fan is now functional.

I liked the friendly service and can-do attitude. If I need an electrician again, I'll give them a call.

Eric does great work and he is quick too. Let me tell you his prices are way better than anyone else.
He is the one I call for any electrical needs, he has installed may things at my house. I would highly recomend him for any electrical job that you may have.

We needed an outside 220 volt service for a big swim-spa. This required about 80 feet of conduit, wire, subpanel, and ground rod. Eric at E&S gave us the low bid. Another bidder, a favorite at Angies List bid 50% more, a third charged me $29 for the estimate which was almost 3 times what Eric bid. When Eric came to do the work, I explained that I wanted part of the service to go under a sidewalk. He said I had not said that before, he had planned to run from a pole. My change would cost $200 more. No problem; he was still well below the others. He did good work, explained it to me, and then came back on the day the spa was delivered to hook it up. Plus, he gave me tips on how to maintain the spa which I much appreciated. Then he called the next morning, a Saturday, to check if it was all working right. Eric was very professional, worked quickly, and I had the sense I could really trust him to do it right. He would be my first choice for future electrical service.

UPDATE: Eric came today (12/11/13) with his nephew to fix a simple problem. That is, it was a big problem for me, no lights and no fan to our stove exhaust, that I had tried to fix, they fixed in minutes. Can I say Cheap? Efficient? Nice guys?
