We have used E I Electrical Inc for a number of electrical problems at our home. Original problem Dan came out to figure out why a double switch stopped working; fixed with excellence
Josiah recently came out to install new outlets because of our need to move washer/dryer; done again with excellence
Joe scheduled our jobs following our availability.
We also asked Josiah to look at a GFI outlet since it stopped working weeks before his visit. we have been pushing the buttons on it with no result but he took one push & immediate fix.
Always like things work when a professional is present.

My Nest was displaying an electrical error and I called various companies to try to fix it including Nest support but no one seemed to be able to help me. I called a couple companies that were not responsive but this company responded right away. They came out the following morning and worked hard to determine the problem which was unique and ended up being in my attic. Thanks to E l Electrical I finally got my AC working again.
They also fixed a problem I had with a sensor on my garage which had me going through lightbulbs once a month. I highly recommend them to anyone with electrical issues and I will definitely use them again! They let you know upfront approximately how much it's going to cost and work diligently to fix the problem. Thanks JP for doing a great job!!

For customers: The $195/95 'assessment fee' is just to show up (even if it's to change a light fixture), and there is nothing to assess. They quote you a separate fee for actual work performed.

$230 to install light fixture + $95 'assessment fee' = $325. The assessment fee was not credited to the work, nor did the work exceed 1 hour.

They changed $100 for quote so quickly and Joe said they did many this kind of thing for Tesla , that made me pay the $100 as soon as possible.and I felt I made a good decision.After coming to estimate and never heard from them again.
After many outgoing calls,today I got the estimate price!! So simple to believe that is estimated price of $12,000

Dan arrived at my place on time. He was quickly able to diagnose my wiring issue shortly thereafter. He was very professional and friendly. He took the time to explain what had happened, and I'm glad I called when I did. The problem I had could have been much worse if it wasn't caught in time. After everything was done, Dan explained the charges, and I found them to be more than fair. I will definitely use and recommend E I Electrical for any future jobs. This is my very first Yelp review, and I did it entirely because of my experience with Dan. Mahalo again, Dan!

Company is kind of pricey but deserves a 5 star rating. While talking to Joe on the phone his email was already coming in with a scheduled date and time. When Chris came to do the job I explained what I wanted done. After approving an estimate for the job, without wasting any time, he got his tool bag, ladder, and started immediately. Chris is a valuable efficient worker. Hope that his boss takes good care of him because he won't find to many workers like that.

The electrician that came out was pleasant and respectful. After doing a quick review of the work, he provided a quote that I thought was high for the job. The $850 quote to install an outlet and add a whip to a garbage disposal just didn't feel right. I decided not to move forward with the job and ended up using a different licensed electrician for half the cost. It took the electrician 2 hours to do the entire job and cost us $400. Nice and responsive but just too costly.

HECO came by in May to upgrade our meter but found a problem with the meter box. Contacted another electric company and waited one month for them to get back to me and said they had no electrician available. Found E I Electrical on Yelp and contacted them for an estimate. Dan came by the following day and gave me an acceptable estimate. He said he could do the work that day provided HECO came out to shut the power off. He contacted HECO and they came by about an hour later. Long story short, job got done, Dan handled the minor problems that came up. He is very professional in his work, detail oriented, and very knowledgeable.
