Bringing 23 years of electrical expertise, I have built a solid foundation in the electrical industry through hands-on work, as well as roles in human resources, safety coordination, and project management. These diverse experiences led to the establishment of E.F. Thomas & Sons Electrical Contractor, LLC.
Each job offers its own set of challenges, and we at E.F. Thomas & Sons thrive on tackling issues and partnering with others to fulfill the end goal.
Chip is proud to train future electricians as an instructor at the IEC of Atlanta.
Having 23 years of hands-on experience, I focus on grasping the specifics of each task and listen closely to what my clients desire. I am committed to expressing my expertise by ensuring a perfect and functional finished product. I keep expanding my knowledge of new technologies and methods to prepare for upcoming projects. I value education in this field and spend my evenings instructing classes for apprentice electricians at a technical school.

Jo L.Chip Thomas of EF Thomas and Sons was our top choice after reviewing a total of 3 electricians who came out to our house and gave us a cost estimate. Chip was the only one who actually gave us a bid not an estimate and he completed the job on budget. Throughout his interactions with us he was very helpful informing us of options. He made it clear his goal was for us to be happy with the end results and we were. His lighting upgrade to our 2006 built house made it seem new with recessed lighting, all LED lights and changing out many old fixtures for modern. His team never left a mess and they got the job done in the time Chip had projected.
Later we thought of some other a few additional upgrades we wanted and Chip was just as helpful, on time and on budget even though this was a much smaller piece of work for him. We would recommend him without reservation.

They were on time, courteous and able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem. Even though they were squeezing us into the schedule on a Friday, Chip and Jake were not at all rushed. They made time to explain the fix and helped us to determine some next steps in our DIY plan.
