Ken was hired by our company to install street lighting. It was a very large project in a senior mobile home park. He defrauded our company for $80,000 and then filed for bankruptcy. After the first payment, he said he needed $50,000 to purchase the lights and then never ordered them and instead, bought a new truck. In the end, he rarely showed up for work and some of our tenants even reported he was smoking pot while working. We filed a complaint with the state contractor's licensing board so we suspect he will most certainly lose his license. Do yourself a favor and do not hire Ken.

Ken of Dye Electric has done many wiring projects for me. Anything from installing light fixtures to troubleshooting to completely rewiring my house! In fact, the rewiring work was so good that the inspector complimented Ken on his work. I was thrilled!

Ken, of Dye Electric in Stockton is professional, and company prices are reasonable. Unlike some skilled professionals, Ken doesn't seem to have mind being asked laymen questions, i.e., I asked if it were fire safe for him to have placed new wiring in front of existing insulation without using spray foam insulation upon completion, and he assured me it was safe instead of feeling insulted by my question. Would have given a 5 Star rating excepting for the patch up work I had to do where dry wall and stucco was cut for purpose of wiring/installation of exterior lights. Overall Im satisfied, and the business is BBB accredited.

Dye Electric saves the day! I own an old house in Bay Point which still had it's original 73 year old knob and tube wiring. Due to the age of the wiring I was having great difficulty finding an insurance carrier for my house. As well, the old service coming into the house could no longer support my modern life electrical demands.

I called Ken at Dye Electric and he came over to look at my house. Ken's bid was very competitive and he was able to start the job in a reasonable time frame. Thanks to Ken's knowledge and experience my house is now a happy house and I am saving $1000 per year on my home owners insurance!

The best part of the re-wiring process was when the inspector came to look at the work and complimented Ken on the quality of his work! This was an inspector whom Ken had never met so it was an honest comment from the inspector.
