I've had problems since April and have been asking Jeff for advice. He's been very kind in giving me all the answers I needed and very patient. Finally we went through the job and he was very efficient! I appreciate his flexibility as well. Customer service was excellent! I definitely recommend these guys versus any one else, other electricians were not as thorough!!! I'm a happy,satisfied customer!

I needed help to repair and replace one old circuit breaker, which has been discontinued.
Jeff was very honest and communicative upfront to troubleshoot via picture and text, before making recommendations and quote to us.
He was friendly, COVID conscious, and was very knowledgeable to share detail on what to do and prevent future issues.
He finished his job very quickly and still took his time to explain everything, and answer many questions that I had on overall electrical setup in our condo.

If you want a professional, knowledgeable, competent, honest and friendly electrician, Jeff from Dwelling Electric is who you're looking for. After reading Yelp reviews and comparing quotes, I decided to schedule with Jeff. He was very easy to communicate with and arrived on time for our appointment. I wanted a general electrical inspection for a home I just purchased. We walked through the home and Jeff thoroughly explained what work could be done, always giving me the choice if that was something I wanted to do. He worked efficiently given the amount of work to be done (multiple outlet/switch replacements, switch box replacement, removal of old electrical wires from previous light fixtures). He really knows what he's doing and an expert in his field. I really appreciated his professional opinion and guidance. I would highly recommend him to my family, friends, and anyone else looking for a quality electrician. I'll definitely be a returning customer for future electrical needs.

When the electricity to our dishwasher in our kitchen island died, we called Dwelling and Jeff D came out to address the problem. It proved to be a more difficult repair because someone had originally set up (or modified) the wiring in a weird way. Eventually he got us back our electricity in the island, and then he proceeded to replace approximately 10 outlets in under an hour that were old and had loose connections. Later we discovered that the repair had caused an outage in another outlet in the kitchen and he came back free of charge to fix the issue. I sincerely appreciated his effort and time and I would trust him to do a great job again next time we have an issue.

I wanted to support local business and I was glad I did. Jeff was timely, communicative and professional. He quickly assessed the problem in a friendly way and explained thoroughly both how he resolved the issue, and how I could prevent it in the future. It ended up being something really simple (GFCI tripped) but Jeff wasn't condescending or exploitative about it - the exact opposite. I was trying to get my place secure if fire hazardsfor any living being to occupy. He had other reasons other than its true your place is not to code he felt it necessary to bring in statements that had only to do with eeping myself occupied in teaching a lincensed person minutia. Like wtf who ever said my CONDO was lath and plaster? A 1969 bh building?! I just only get it if the people breaking in to my home and doing very strange things to my walls don't want any electrician to agree let alone point out the ways that people stalking and messing with permitted work can really succeed in the way rains they tampered with your stuff in the first place.

This company is off.

In response to his lengthy response. I am glad he told me what all that mess was to correspond to all the broken windows and doors. 300 to 500 holes sometimes more than holes. Terrorizing, right?
