I got my light switch replaced and they came prepared with a both a 3 button switch and a 2 button switch. Turns out my 3 button switch that I replaced only needed two. The electricians clearly knew what they were doing, and it seems like they have a mentorship system going on with younger guys in training so that's good to see.

Service was more expensive than competitors, so you need to be willing to cash out more than needed. But you can expect quality.

A tree fell on my power line on a Friday night and ripped the weatherhead and fascia off my house. Dave was the first to respond to my Yelp project, told me he was sorry he couldn't come immediately but would come first thing Monday. We must have talked to another 30 electricians over the weekend but everyone was booked. Dave had great communication throughout, and was the only one to send a written estimate. Dave and Davy showed up as promised at 8am Monday and spent 4+ hours fixing my wiring for a reasonable flat rate. They put the new I-bolt in the brick but still managed to reattach the fascia board, even though they are not carpenters by trade. Highly recommended!

Overall good experience. Requested an appointment Friday, came and got a quote Monday, fixed the problem shortly after. Had a breaker loose and sent my question, got a call shortly after with an easy fix. Would recommend.

David was excellent - so glad to have found him on yelp! In general, it is hard to get folks to come to the downtown area for repairs. But luckily he was within his service area. I reached out to him for an electrical issue I was having - and promptly had an appointment set up. David came by and was very friendly and skilled in his trade. He quickly fixed the issue and explained to me what had happened. His charges were very reasonable too. I highly recommend him.

If I could give 6 stars to DW Electric, I would. Had an electrical problem and had an large electrician company come out. Diagnosis was worse than I thought--and the repair was going to total over $1,000 (even after spending $300 plus for coming out and troubleshooting). They offered me 18 month financing at zero interest!

Called DW Electric to get a second opinion. The owner, Dave Whitney, came out with another colleague and quickly fixed the problem for less than $250.

I was shocked. Honest, reasonable and quick. What else does anyone need in an electrician? (BTW--they are Master Electricians).

Their pricing was very reasonable. And I would trust them with all my electrical needs in the future. If you do good work and treat people right, a small business should not have to advertise. Hope everyone agrees with this review if you use them.

David was awesome. Very responsive, asked for a few pictures so he knew what he needed when he came, and super communicative during the job. He even looked at another issue and gave a recommendation on how to fix. Would absolutely use again.
