A couple of my lights were not coming on after I turned off/on my circuit breakers. I tried contacting 3 electricians with the symptoms and asked for quotes. One did not respond and another responded that they were booked up. DV Electric responded promptly and asked me to check some things and then suggested what could be wrong, and also let me know their rates.

Based on the information DV Electric provided, I was able to get my lights working again. They saved me time and money. If I ever need any more electrical help, I'll be talking with DV Electric.

Mike was very prompt in responding to our inquiry on Yelp. He was able to come by the very next day to give a quote for our recessed light installation. He was very upfront about pricing, and very responsive throughout the process. He clearly explained what he would need to do, and walked us through our different options. The price isn't the cheapest we were able to find (some contractors/unlicensed folks will be cheaper), but we felt it was important to choose someone we could trust with electrical work. Considering how great the lights look and the ease of doing business with Mike, it was definitely worth it!

Mike was great. Friendly, professional, and down to earth, with good advice. We asked him to replace our main panel, which was arcing even after a breaker replacement. He accommodated our request for a 200A panel and additional kitchen circuits at a great price. Scheduling inspections and PGE can be trying, but he was persistent and advocated on our behalf to get it all done in a reasonable time frame. I had an emergency today and can't live without my dishwasher. Something was wrong with my outlet, which kept tripping the breaker. Mike was able to come in 2 hours to help out. I had the pleasure of working with Mike to install several smart outlets and connect those outlets to Hue light strips and also to Amazon Alexa. Mike was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. He showed up on time, went out of his way to go the extra step to locate a new switch since the one I bought was not compatible and to connect the new hardware to the wi-fi and to Alexa. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and then gave me the various options to choose from. He cleaned up when he was done and everything works as expected. Mike was the third electrician I hired to do this same project. I wish I would have found him first. What was so difficult for the previous elections, was a snap for Mike! I would hire him again for any electrical project and would highly recommend him to anyone who has need for an electrician.

Mike was the third contractor that I worked with on this project -- I only wish that I had started with him!
