Recommended Customer Reviews

I had Dunman electric come out to check on the connection of a spa light. I thought is might be an electrical issue, so I wanted an electrician out to make sure. The charged 1.6 hours of labor, and a residential charge to tell me that we had a burnt out light bulb. Thy didn't have the light, so the bulb wasn't even replaced. $270 to tell me I had a light bulb out. Stay away!

So, unfortunately, I have to add my voice to the other negative reviews here, since I have had a horrible experience with this company. The day after the electrician came out I discovered that he did not actually fix the issue with my ceiling fan even though he said he did. I called to let Dunman now and was told I would receive a call back. I did not. I ended up having to follow-up several times to make an appointment with Craig the owner to come out. Unfortunately, he never showed for his appointment.
After following-up several other times, I did finally get a call back from Craig, but at this point had completely lost faith in the company. When I did speak with Craig he was incredibly hostile to the point of being personally insulting. I'm going to take further steps to try to dispute my charge, but please save yourself the hassle and just avoid this company.

Would recommend to others, would use again.
Dunman stepped in when another contractor flaked on me and installed some ceiling fans for me with very short notice.

I had them install an LED fixture in pantry to replace a failed fluorescent fixture: worked quickly, and did a great job. Very pleased!

We had Dunman Electric come out and change all of our pool lights. We first had a pool company come out and they spent the entire day here and were unsuccessful--they were unable to pull the wire through the conduit in the ground. So the next day we had Dunman Electric come out and in a matter of an hour (maybe hour and 1/2 tops!) they got the entire job done. And here's the kicker, they charged us less money than the pool company charged us (even though they got nothing accomplished). So if you need lights done on your pool, skip the pool company and call Dunman first! I promise you will be happy (and pay less too)!

Still, after trying to solve the issue, their customer service still wants to call me a liar. The person running their social media account must be missing a few marbles, because they simply can't comprehend basic sentences. So many times they have talked themselves into a corner.
Bottom line:
1. They are terrible at scheduling. Plan on calling them multiple times just to find out when or if they are ever going to show up.
2. They are terrible at actually being electricians. Their ""master"" electricians proposed terrible solutions that a high school shop class kid could have done better at.
3. They are terrible at following through. It took me more than a week of calling them back just to get a price estimate, forcing me to go with another electrician.
4. They are terrible at customer service. The person running their account will call you a liar and make up some bullshit reason to 'prove' she is right. Terrible way to win back scorned customers.
FINAL VERDICT. 0/10. STAY AWAY.

I wish we would have seen all of the negative reviews on here before hiring. These guys did a garbage job. Conduit is just hanging, exposed. We asked for CAT6. They installed CAT6 conduit but installed CAT5 terminations/end points, limiting our max speed. Marked up the CAT6 conduit ten times the retail price that you pay for the exact same product at Home Depot. Billed our credit card without authorization before providing an invoice. Overall, a horrible experience.

I am only giving them one star because I can't give zero stars. I would not use them nor recommend Dunman Electric to anyone. First time they came out, it seemed that they fixed the problem. The price was pretty steep, almost $300. But I paid it no questions asked. When the same issue arose again a couple weeks later, I called them right away assuming they would come out and fix the issue for no additional charge. Considering they clearly didn't fix it the first time. Nope, I assumed wrong. They tried to charge me almost another $200 dollars. After spending time on the phone with Craig, and the conversation getting heated; I decided I wasn't going to give them a dime. I sent the technician away.
I feel sorry for the tech. He was actually a nice guy. Unfortunately, he works for a horrible company that knows nothing about customer service. I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to warn folks, so they don't end up dealing with the same issues I did.

Had a braker go out and called Dunman to replace it. They asked pertinent questions and did not give me the run around over the phone. Compared to other electricians whom I had called for requested service and ballpark pricing, Dunman was available, affordable, and respectful. They were professional and I am very pleased with the prompt and affordable service.

Needed service on Saturday, to repair storm damaged breaker. Glad they could make it on short notice, but charging me what they did to replace the breaker was nothing short of robbery. I give them 2 stars, for response time, and fixing the problem in 30 mins. I refuse to acknowledge that it really took an hour, because the first time they installed the breaker upside down. On top of everything else i get an email statement that's blank, but it did have photos of them putting in the breaker.. Wee! PEC, please take them off your recommended list, your doing your customers a disservice.
