I've used then on two different occasions & while the work was not complicated for them, it was certainly beyond my ""pay grade"" & ability. They were totally reliable, on time & actually reasonably priced. I am pleased to recommend Dunedin Electric to anyone!

We had a circuit out in our home, guy came and told us we needed an entire re-wiring of our electric lines but could fix the problem for now. Charged us $141.00 for the fix and two weeks later it went out again. Another guy came and charged us another $95 to fix part of the problem but we still have one light and ceiling fan not working. Poor service for repeat customers! Paid twice for a problem that is still not fixed!

Be careful they charged me 3 hours labor on 1:29 work. Arrived at 2:18 and finished at 3:47. Tech told me ""We charge for the driving time to get to you and also round up on any hour. Bottom line $270 labor charge for 1:29 worth of work. When I complained he then lowered it to $225; still a $45 charge for driving time. Called office person who answered the phone told me a manager will call you tomorrow and hung up. No response today. This is a honest and factual account. $90 and hour for 1.5 hours of work even rounded up to 2 hours is $180 which still leaves a $45 charge for what; driving? What a joke....BE CAREFUL as they are charging you for driving...This is not the techs fault this is the owners issue...not the techs fault.

We couldn't be more happier with the service we received today from Dunedin Electric. The two technicians showed up early and were able to fix our dryer outlet as well as the dryer cord. They saved us from having a factory LG serviceman come to our house. We highly recommend this company!!

Tom and apprentice Felipe came out to install three ceiling fans for me and I couldn't be happier. They were prompt, called in advance, did a great job troubleshooting my tricky wiring and did it all for far less than I expected. Another star for recommending where to take the old fans for donation and for packing up all the screws, etc. I'll definitely be calling them again for any additional projects. Highly recommended.

HORRIBLE service! ZERO STARS if I could. totally disappointing experience!
We heard great things about this company, so thought we'd give them a try for our electrical service upgrade. They scheduled for early in the morning (between 9-11) last week and never showed up! I waited around all morning and was told when I called to follow up that the estimator, Dan, had called me (from an unknown number) but since I didn't answer my phone he said they don't come out unless they speak with the owner first to reconfirm the appointment. The scheduler, Charlotte, never advised me of this policy, so I did not know to look for a call. I rescheduled the appointment for the following Monday (today) for between 1-3 PM. I have a very busy schedule, but I waited around for Dan to arrive. This time I had his number saved in my phone and was able to answer his ""pre-appointment"" call. We confirmed that he would be ""arriving soon"". I waited around, and kept checking for him. By 2:30 I was now down in my backyard, doing work. I texted Dan to let him know to come around back when he arrived. He texted me back that he had already been to my home and had left an estimate on my front door upstairs. I couldn't figure out how that was possible, since I was home ALL DAY, waiting on him. Despite having a 2-story home, our doorbell rings both upstairs and downstairs so no matter where I am, I can here it.
It had never rang, so I couldn't figure out how I missed him-again! I went upstairs and there was no quote on the front door. I immediately texted him to return and attempted 2 phone calls to his number. My messages were unanswered. I called the office, SW (receptionist?), who promptly cut off a now very frustrated client, placed me on hold and then Charlotte, the scheduler, picked up. Turns out SHE had entered my address incorrectly for the appointment and Dan had gone somewhere over in Tarpon Springs, to a completely different area! She placed me on hold (to reach Dan, I assume). When she came back on the line she couldn't hear me, despite my continually telling her I was on the phone. She hung up, called me back, then informed me that Dan was ""too busy"" to swing back by this afternoon. She said they could reschedule me (for a 2nd time, 3rd appt in total) for tomorrow between (hours). I was pretty furious by this time, and told her that was not acceptable since I had now waited around not once, but twice for their estimator and I was busy the rest of the week. She said there was just no way they could make it back out to assist me (today). I told her I would take my business elsewhere and she said that would be fine.

Nov 8th 12:45. One of the repair vehicles jumped the median in front of Home Depot palm harbor to get into a turn lane faster almost hitting my car. If they cut corners driving and put people in danger probably wouldent trust them with my house.
