Dunedin Electric never disappoints. Angel came by today to check on some interior lights that kept clipping off and to look at an exterior fixture that was doing the same. He was professional and courteous the whole time AND was nice to our little Yorkie's. Who can be a real handful! Thanks again for everything!

This company has some great employees; giving them 5 stars even though they've never worked on my home.
One of their techs, Ryan, stopped to help me when I was involved in a car accident recently (he was the car in front of mine). He helped both myself and the driver in the car that hit me, to get off the road safely - and then stayed with us for about an hour until the Florida Highway Patrol arrived.
That's the kind of tech you want coming to service your home.

I noticed that the light switch and vent fan switches in the bathroom often had to be ""jiggled"" before they worked. I wasn't entirely surprised. My house is about 50 years old, the switches were probably installed when the house was built, and switches don't last forever, so I stopped and picked up replacement switches. After being a homeowner for 45 years, I have a basic knowledge of electricity and have installed switches, ceiling fans, light fixtures and other electrical appliances. I removed the old switches and discovered that I was out of my depth. Someone had modified the switches and DIDN'T GROUND THE SWITCHES. Bad idea in a wet area like a bathroom! I called the pros. I received an appointment in a timely manner, the technician was on-time, friendly and courteous, and the work was done quickly and at what I thought was a reasonable price.

After a false start with a lesser known contractor, PH/Dunedin Electric was contacted. They were reasonably priced and able to schedule/complete requested tasks much sooner than anticipated. The two man crew worked well together. Understanding the requested tasks they knowledgeably accomplished all tasks in an efficient and professional fashion. Kudos to the staff and crews!

Our HOA needed an outside panel replaced. We obtained three estimates, and decided on Dunedin Electric (even though they weren't the lowest bid) - the estimate was very thorough. They were workmanlike in the performance of the replacement, responsive to inquiries, and very fair in pricing some additional work that needed to be done, that couldn't be known at the time of the estimate. I can unreservedly recommend their services based upon our experience.

We recently had electrical issues with our appliances and the lights over the weekend. Normally we would call Dunedin Electric but noticed on Google that they weren't open. Unfortunately, we called another company that was open 24/7. The technician came and wasn't very good considering that he left and then had to come back the next day because parts of house, the wifi and some lights weren't working. Apparently, he didn't turn on all breaker switches before he departed. But the worse part was trying to convince us that we needed to replace the electrical panel, saying it was old and unsafe. That would have cost over $4,000. He was very pushy, trying to get us to do it and wanted us to give him a $1,000 deposit upfront. Feeling this was a red flag, we ended up getting a second opinion from Dunedin Electric on Monday. Tom the Technician came and noticed some of the electrical work from the other technician was subpar. He redid the repairs but his next part is where he shined. Tom said the electrical panel didn't needed replacing. In fact he said he has the same one at home and they are good quality panels. So thank you Tom and Dunedin Electric for being professional and most importantly, honest.
