Duncan Electric is definitely my go-to company for all electrical needs. They are professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and fairly priced. We had bought a house and several months later found one wall of our kitchen all of a sudden lost power to all the outlets. We called Duncan and they came out the same day and searched the dead outlets, the breaker box, and every wire tracing the problem. Turned out to be the previous owner's DIY installation of an outlet in the garage that was incorrectly (and dangerously) wired. Duncan properly re-wired the box and presto, power back to the kitchen. We really appreciated Duncan taking the time to be so thorough and providing us with peace of mind that the problem was solved completely.

We have old wiring in garage and I was concerned that our dryer wasn't properly grounded. I called a couple of the more well known electric businesses in Humboldt but everyone was booked 2 months out. Ambrosini & Sons Electric highly recommended Duncan Electric. Not only were they able to come out within a day to look at our dryer, they were able to rewire the outlet within a couple weeks. We were really happy with their work and it was very reasonably priced. We're definitely using Duncan Electric as our go to electrician from now on.

I can't say enough about the guys at Duncan Electric. We had a current problem with losing electricity in certain parts of the kitchen. We also had old problems with porch and motion sensor lights.

They came in, diagnosed the problems and fixed everything. We've had others come in multiple times to look into and try to address the issues, but it wasn't until we hired Duncan Electric that our electrical issues were finally resolved. They are great at trouble shooting, repair and replacement. The crew is very professional and nice. Their prices are reasonable too.

Duncan Electric gave us a bid on complete rewire on a property we bought, house and garage. His bid was fair and honest. Duncan electric had professional and good quality employees that knew their trade very well. Last week my master bathroom vanity lights stopped working, then the outlet next to the switch in the same location also stopped. I have no knowledge regarding electrical wiring. I called Ambrosini and Sons and left a message. No response. Called them back and left another more detailed message. They never returned my call. I assume they are closed due to Covid shelter at home. I found Duncan Electric and gave them a call. This guy is awesome. First, He answered my call! Second, He said he'd be by that afternoon and he was! He and his associate fixed my faulty switch and made sure everything inside and out was working properly. I was shocked when he charged me a ridiculously low amount, but it provided a great tipping opportunity on my part. He deserves your business.

I'm a general contractor, my business mostly revolves around remodels of older homes often with outdated wiring systems. Dave Duncan is the only electrician I hire. Not only is his work technically proficient and efficiently executed, but it ends up looking like artwork. When the inspectors see Dave's work they are immediately put at ease as they understand a consummate professional completed this job.
