I hired Ernie Duarte to change out light fixtures in two of my garages to outlets so I could install some work lights. A new outlet was also installed.

First off, Ernie is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Second, his experience and expertise in the electrical field makes me happy because I've found a company for the long term for my electrical needs.

Eddie was the technician who did the install. Also a nice guy. He got to work and installed the outlets in an efficient manner. Ernie stopped by a bit later and helped install the new outlet, running the new wire.

Ernie also took a look at my lighted number sign because it wasn't lighting at night. I wasn't sure if it was a wiring issue or just bad bulbs. It ended up being bad bulbs. Ernie even looked it up on the Home Depot website and found the bulb for me. Something I didn't expect but appreciate.

Overall, I am very happy with the install and the cost was very reasonable. Both of my garages are well lighted now.

I highly recommend Duarte Electric for any electrical needs.

Was looking for an electrician to install a Ring Floodlight in our backyard and we are so glad we got Ernie to do the install! We had a last minute change of plan on how we wanted our power conduit to be ran last minute and Ernie did not hesitate on provisioning. Ernie said he has been in the business for over 20 years and it shows! Both him and his worker were extremely professional and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a reliable electrician look no further, especially if you need Ring equipment installed! Would definitely be using Ernie again for all our future electrical needs and would recommend them! A++

I couldn't be more pleased! Duarte Electric got back to me on the Sunday before Christmas within 2 hours. They had a guy that could come an hour later. Eddie showed up and found the main problem with a line of outlets that had gone out. He also tightened up each of the wires in each outlet and found what was wrong with two other sets of outlets in a rental. And he did it all without going over the time I had to pay just for a service call. Best of all, he explained the set ups and what was happening in each instance. Thanks, Eddie, and Merry Christmas! My renters are very happy!

I hired Ernie and his crew twice for various electrical work and both times they were awesome. Ernie is the only electrician to come to my house in-person to perform an assessment and give me a quote. The two other companies I called just wanted me to text them photos and give me a quote over the phone. The first time I hired Ernie was in Elk Grove for the following - install a ceiling fan, 6 recessed lights, an EV charger, and automatic porch light timer. My wife and I were very impressed with the quality and detail he and his crew put into the job. And they left our place spotless. All of the work and pulling the permit for the EV charger was very reasonably priced and came slightly lower than the other two quotes.

The second time I hired him was a year later when we moved to a new house in Sacramento. He installed the EV charger at the new house and installed two Ring video alarm cameras. I was very happy with the work. I highly recommend and would gladly call Duarte Electric again for any electrical needs.

Ernie was very responsive and had a competitive price for installing my Tesla charger. Over the next couple months, we had a couple other minor electrical issues with outlets and an overhead light. This was the second project that Duarte did for us. They replaced the kitchen lighting with recessed can lighting and installed pendant lighting above the kitchen island. Ernie and his crew did a wonderful job. I highly recommend them!

I had a great experience working with Ernie and his team. He came out to our house the first time to give me a quote on installing a 14-50 NEMA outlet for our ev car as well as installing a ceiling fan indoor. Unlike other competitors, the site visit was free of charge. His price for the work was also reasonable when compared to others.

On the day of the installation, his team arrived ready to work. It took them as long as, if not quicker than what he initially estimated. The workmanship was top notch, and they were very courteous when going in and out of our house and garage. Ernie also worked with the city to get us the necessary permit for the work.

Overall, we would work with Ernie and his team again for future electrical work needs.
