We had Duarte Electric out to our home today to install a new dining room chandelier and fix a non-working pantry light fixture. This is the second time we've used this company and they are wonderful!

They are prompt, polite, professional and do great work--and are very reasonably priced. We highly recommend them and will use them for all our future electrical jobs.

I needed to get some smart switches installed in my house. After e-mailing and calling other electricians in Elk Grove I didn't receive any calls back. I called Ernie and he called back in the hour. He fortunately had an opening and came over to my house that afternoon. It was six smart switches and he installed them all quickly. Everything was done and he charged a reasonable $80 for the hour of work. Ernie vacuumed and cleaned up the debris from the job.

Ernie Duarte and his crew did a marvelous job, this week, of installing a houseful of new lights and doing various miscellaneous electrical fixes throughout my house. I have only great things to say about Ernie: (1) his expertise; (2) his ethics; (3) his communication skills; (4) his crew; and (5) the quality of the work. This was a big job consisting of a bunch of smaller jobs. I felt he gave me fair prices. Every step along the way he let me know if what I wanted created any issues, such as code requirements. His two crew members also were a delight to work with - knowledgeable, easy to get along with and not intrusive in my space. Ernie will be my electrician far into the future.

Called today and Ernie had someone in the area finishing up a job. Eddie was at our house within 30 minutes. He took his time to thoroughly check out the issues and fix them. One of the issues were two outlets that were ""dead"". Both are working now! One light switch was replaced along with a GFI socket. Service was fast and price was reasonable. Thank you!

They are super awesome. So I called Duarte Electric when my outside and bathroom outlets where not working. I was not sure what was going on so I decided to call an electrician. When I spoke to Ernie and told him my problem he helped me right over the phone. He said it was a simple fix and I could do it myself. He took me step by step and within minutes all my outlets where working.

Talk about costumer service!!! Really I mean someone else would have probably came over charged me for something so simple. I will be installing ceiling fans in two rooms soon, so I will DEFINITELY be calling Durate Electric so they can install them for me. GREAT JOB! :)

I haven't had a chance to personally (face to face) interact with them so that is why I only gave four stars but I will soon change that two five when I am ready for my ceiling fan installation.

Had a potentially serious emergency, a fuse panel with a mind of its own. Ernie and another electrician Eddie came right out and fixed it. Ernie is very professional and friendly. They quickly fixed the panel which had arcing burned out fuses and kept the cost very reasonable. I highly recommend this company. Their expertise and awesome service is reassuring.
